Interesting chapter. Of course Halor is the first suspect for the arson, but that may not be the actual truth.
Something not quite right there. But, I guess speculating is not going to be as good as reading on!
Nice feel-good chapter with all sorts of small clue-like thoughts circling around the edges. And the comments were almost as long a read as the chapter!
Nice that dad is home, though, and some family feeling returning. It's a lot easier to be strong when you feel something solid at your back. Hope this gives Chase the time to think about a few things. And maybe act on a few things!
Thanks for the great read.
I agree with the statements above. This really is a fun world. Nice new take on several different ideas.
Ah. And good ol' Blanche, didn't let me down.
Nor Jordan and Damian, either!
I generally like elves, but I'll make an exception for Halor.
I like Blanche, and hope she won't do me wrong here. I have a feeling she will be less surprised about Jordan than Halor thinks.
Man. I need to go to bed. Maybe one more chapter tonight!
Most teen boy's rooms are kind of off limits to parents. Mine was, as a teen, and my son's was, when he was a teen. At least in our family, it was kind of a rule. No parents unless invited!
Little brothers and sisters are another story. I hadn't really given that much though in regards to Rick. But let's just say, for the sake of argument, that Rick has a safe place to stash things and that his younger siblings are just not too nosy for their own good!
Hmm. Not sure what is up with Damian being so bold with Jordan one moment, and then being afraid the next. But I'm sure you'll reveal all at some point.
I like Arisa. She has that nice people glow.
This attraction seems mutual, at least, even if both of these guys are a little frantic not to realize it just yet.
"Jordan! Is there a naked cat in your apartment?!” This line is going to come to mean something great, I predict!
You've got me hooked. Sad that Jordan lost his teacher, but that just leaves room for a better one! I like Jordan and Damian together.
As the man once said, 'I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship'!
Intense chapter. But Chase and Hank TALKED, and much was said on both sides. Important stuff.
Poor Dawson, that he seems to like Chase. And we don't know what's in Kevin's mind, though we can imagine. But Dawson seems to be a good friend, and I think he cares enough about Chase to respect the lines here.
I still believe that no two people can go at it like Chase and Hank did and not still be in love. Arguments based on hate have a totally different sound!
Or, one can hope!
The nice thing is that I can basically do whatever i want! So I'll keep writing as long as people keep reading! The age thing, I think, will take care of itself.
Immortality, anyone?
Sigh. It would be wonderful to have elf friends that could make time do was they willed. But you will notice that Charlie and company have continued to age throughout the series. They were 15 when the series began, and are all 18 now. At some point, they'll simply age out.
Unless we can get Max to do some special magic, and freeze them at their current age. Then the series could go on until GA simply had no storage space left! 🙂
Nothing is impossible, if you know the right elves!
Thanks for your kind comment.
