Thank you, too. I always appreciate those that take a moment to comment. So far, I've been doing Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Independence Day. There are more holidays available. I'll have to see what I can do with that!

Escape, capture, and prosecution. I had to read it twice, to be sure. Very strong piece, and a very striking commentary on where we are in America today. Good Samaritans must choose their paths wisely these days, or risk being labeled an enemy for their kindness. It's not just a shame, it's criminal.

Thank you. Kippy reminds me of someone I know, too. Most of my characters are based on friends. I also believe it is better to have loved and lost, then to never have loved at all. The memory of love is a powerful treasure to carry around with you. I'm happy you're enjoying the series. I'm enjoying writing it, too!

If you like fantasy, you'll be right at home here. I didn't know where the series would go at all. I guess I have a fantasy bent. Or two! If you like fantasy, try my Mooi stories: Mooi, Nachtmerrie, and Sprookjes. They are definitely fantasy. And the Door stories are sci-fi/fantasy, and so is Z is For Zombie , and...you get it!

There would be a possibly humorous angle to that, as they learned to do some magic. Or, if it was an unpredictable talent, that worked sometimes, and not at others. I'll have to see. I have another work in progress that is currently sixteen chapters long, about magic users in a different scenario, that I don't want to accidentally borrow from. We'll see!

That's sad. Kids shouldn't play with explosives of any kind. I was referring to adults and sparklers. Kids are a different breed, and with them, shit just happens.

Max didn't exactly say that. He just suggested to Kontus that the guy's youth was the reason they weren't tossing fireballs about the cosmos. I actually don't think it would be as much fun if the guys could do real magic. Why would we need the elves then? Besides, they have the wish magic, which is enough for now. I guess! Say, you're an imaginative fellow, ain't ya!
