  1. It was Ben Early, otherwise known as 'Beanie', that changed my life that day. I was cruising through the park on my bike, on the way down to Lowe's for my dad, to pick up yet another box of five-penny nails. My dad was going to build something with wood, but just what, even he did not know. Anything. He liked to look at plans online, and then to putter around in the little shop he'd assembled in the back of the garage, joining pieces of wood into things that were sometimes useful, and sometimes
  2. It started as a chance encounter in the park. Billy Mitchell met the friend of a friend, and was instantly smitten. Little did he know he was now a player in a game - and a very special game, indeed!

    Chapter 12

I actually knew what you meant, having seen old re-runs of Leave It to Beaver. I was just surprised that you would DARE to use it!

    Chapter 12

    Keen?

    Chapter 12

Sigh. Late again to the party! Man, look at this crowd! Good to see the healing progressing. Hope the GSA things gets rolling without too much trouble. Amazing how well Troy is recovering - but then, he has Adam with him. Two can always do what one cannot do alone. Ain't it wunnerful!

    Chapter 11

'Bout time your guys got to relax a little. Also looks like there might be some justice here, finally. So many things happen in this world where people do not get held accountable. This time, it looks like they will. Thanks for another great chapter. Looking forward to see what happens next!

    Chapter 10

Hey...I can barely get near this thing to comment, with this big crowd milling about! I think that means you have touched a few nerves, and a few hearts, with this story. And I think that means you've done a great job!

    Chapter 1

You're one up one me. I only wrote it once! I guess it's the best compliment there is, when someone reads a story twice. Thank you. I am happy that you felt it worth the effort.

    Chapter 9

Haha! You sure know how to stir things up! Look at this mob, all milling around, out for blood! Not that I blame them one bit. You have created a story that pokes and prods in all the right place, buddy. We are all on Adam's and Troy's side, 100%! Now, about this taking a whole week for a new chapter thing...can we do something about that?

    Chapter 8

Ugh. Unpleasant to consider where this is going. Adam will not stop loving Troy for any reason, though. I feel that in my heart. Next chapter will tell if I am cutting you out of my will or not.

    Chapter 7

Ooh...an in joke! I'm not telling!

    Chapter 7

Hey! More! My manicurist is sure to be angry with me. "Have you been biting your nails, sir?" "No, just hanging by them! From a cliff!"

    Chapter 6

Hmm. Exactly what is a 'butt-load', from your point of view?

    Chapter 1

Thanks for saying. I do plan to add to this story line. It's fun for me, too. And, that's what it's all about!

    Chapter 6

I agree totally, CG. The small differences in language surely don't harm a good story. I don't let such things distract me from a good read. That's kind of like some guy walking up to me and handing me a briefcase full of money, and me getting upset because it's a million Euros instead of a million dollars. It all spends the same!

    Chapter 6

Holy smoke! Talk about a swarm of responders! I think you have caught people's attention with this story, Ivor. You certainly caught mine. Now...the waiting. I know you're too much of a sweetheart to hurt Troy badly. But...any kind of hurt at all is worrisome. It isn't the waiting for the next chapter that is driving me nuts, it's the constant need to pace back and forth!

    Chapter 5

Very pleased to visit with your guys again. This story is moving along nicely, with several possible branches ahead coming to mind. Always wonderful to see the healing power of love and acceptance. Just wish there was more in the world to go around. Keep at it!

    Chapter 4

Why...and we hardly know each other! How sweet of you to say so!

    Chapter 4

Well...okay. Nineteen chapters. But don't expect kindness like this all the time!

    Chapter 4

Gee, I must be late! The entire cast has already been by to compliment you! Another great chapter. Always nice to see someone come back from the edge of despair. Adam and Troy are good together. Little love and affection goes a long, LONG way! Still think twenty chapters would be nice!

    Chapter 3

Hey, you don't have to be gay to like oriental parasols. You just have to like oriental parasols! Jeez, you should see pics of me at age 8 in 1975 wearing these amazingly tiny shorts that boys wore in Nederlands then. The legs were non-existent - the shorts were virtually crotch-length! But everyone wore them, and tee-shirts that reached our navels, and sandals. Talk about gay-in-waiting. But most of those boys grew up straight. Or...so they say!

    Chapter 2

Hmm. I can't say i know a lot of people who were incarcerated. Just read some things and seen some things. I bow to your greater experience!
  23. Geron Kees

    Chapter 3

Aw, CG, I'd much rather keep you in mind as your current, beautiful self, than to think about wearing the shirt and bell-bottoms you mentioned!

    Chapter 3

This is the nicest chunk of rehab I've seen in a while. Isn't it amazing what nice, supportive and caring people can do to change a life? Adam is one of the lucky ones. It's a tribute to his strength of character that he didn't let his parents destroy him. Thanks for showing him (and Troy) to us!

    Chapter 1

Yep. Loved the Telzey Amberdon stuff of Schmitz. And his The Witches of Karres is one of my all time favorite books! And Norton's Time Traders series I remember very fondly, and Niven's Ringworld, and... Yep. Lot of great stuff out there!
