  2. Geron Kees

    Chapter 1

It has irked me at times that Paul knows more about my stories than I do!
  3. Geron Kees

    Chapter 1

I always like introducing new characters. But then I am forced to use them in later stories! There are a LOT of characters in this series already, too.. Oops!
  4. Geron Kees

    Chapter 1

'Bout time we got some gentlemen and scholars in on the act, huh?
  5. Geron Kees

    Chapter 1

That's the way I felt. I wrote that story in a single day, pretty much.
  6. Geron Kees

    Chapter 10

    No, I meant WD40.
  7. Geron Kees

  9. Geron Kees

    Chapter 10

I'm happy to hear from you again. I hope everyone enjoys the chapter. I found it harder to write than usual. I'm just rusty, is all. Little WD40, and I'll be fine!
  10. Geron Kees

    Chapter 10

Thank you. I see no reason why I won't be getting back to my former activity level.
  11. Geron Kees

    Chapter 10

Thanks. I actually feel rusty after six months of no fiction writing. But it's coming back to me, I think.

    Chapter 7

The town is bigger than it seems. And, I would guess that Jamie and Garvin had not seen Crillis since he got his new apprentice.
  13. Browbeat edged up to the staircase wall, his wings humming as he hovered, and peered down the upstairs hallway. The house was quiet, but he knew it wasn't unoccupied. He could hear Kip talking somewhere, and Charlie and Rick and Adrian laughing, but no one was in sight, which was all that mattered. "The coast is clear," he whispered to the small figure behind him. "Just try not to bang that crate into anything." "You sure?" Casper asked, keying the gravity manipulator that had hold of

    Chapter 5

Is anyone ever squeaky clean? There are a number of powerful mages in this tale. But they don't all have the same knowledge or experience. There is no set curriculum for becoming a master. Excelling at what one knows seem to be the key.
  15. Geron Kees

    Chapter 4

Jamie is carried away by his new knowledge, though. It will take time to master it. Flitch...well. you'll see.
  16. Geron Kees

    Chapter 10

Tried that. Took care of the squeak, but not the rub!
  17. Geron Kees

    Chapter 10

Charlie has been pushing me for a while now to get back to the story. I really think it's Kip, working through Charlie, but I don't want to say that out loud. But, thanks. I am happy to be writing again.
  18. Geron Kees

    Chapter 10

Thank you. It's great of you to say!
  19. Geron Kees

    Chapter 10

It's taken some months, but I am doing very well now. Ups and down, here and there, but that is to be expected. I am happy to be writing again. I thought I could complete this tale with a chapter 10, but quickly found that a chapter 11 would be needed. I'll get that posted here as soon as I can.
  20. Geron Kees

    Chapter 10

Thanks, Doc. I'm a little rusty, but I think I can get going again!
  21. Geron Kees

    Chapter 10

Thanks. I am happy to be back.
  22. Geron Kees

    Chapter 10

Oh, you know how those fourth-order and fifth-order life forms can be. Always lording it over us poor third-orders!
  23. Geron Kees

    Chapter 10

I had to re-read the story, too!
  24. Geron Kees

    Chapter 10

Much better than I was, thank you!
