  1. Geron Kees

    Chapter 5

There were so many people reading so many different chapters while the story was posting that I lost track of all the notifications. I'm sorry to have missed your comment!
  2. Geron Kees

    Chapter 3

He needs to magify a magnify, I think.
  3. Geron Kees

    Chapter 2

    Thanks! You're supposed to wonder.
  4. Geron Kees

    Chapter 1

I can't tell you. Neither can Thorvil. You'll just have to find out for yourself!
  5. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

Thanks! It was the company that came along for the journey that I enjoyed!
  6. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

I learned THAT one in elementary school!
  7. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

Oh, I find magick in lots of places. Just none yet that allows me to stretch time!
  8. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

Probably not THAT short! I don't have any magick to help with it, unfortunately. Whoever set up THIS universe really left some good things out of it!
  9. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

It may be a lengthy pause. But we'll try to make it as short as possible!
  10. Geron Kees

    Chapter 19

Every hero, no matter how mundane or how fantastic the world he or she lives in, has to eat, and use the bathroom. It might as well be cool! Thanks!

    Chapter 36

Dogs can love you for other reasons. Most of the time, all you have to be is just YOU for a dog to love you. But, having a pocketful of treats helps!
  12. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

Dogs have always known more than we have. It's why we take care of them, rather than the other way around!
  13. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

I hate to even think of it as an ending.
  14. Geron Kees

    Chapter 12

No. Sorry. I haven't gotten to that yet. It's on my sequel list. My LONG sequel list.
  15. Geron Kees

    Chapter 1

    Thank you!
  16. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

That's actually right. i always thought it would be a curse to have a dog's nose. Imagine the things you'd smell that you didn't WANT to!
  17. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

Yep. Irik usually sniffs them out, though.
  18. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

    Thanks for that!
  19. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

I always enjoy hearing from you! So...okay: You will eventually get more of Jamie and Garvin, as I left things wide open for another book! 😁 Oh, the royal orgy was great! I didn't get home again for three days! 😛
  20. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

I think the definition of magick will be different at the castle that night, but that the results will be much the same! Thanks for the company on the journey!
  21. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

I meant what I said. Back and forth means both ways!

    Chapter 36

Lodda's nether, I thought of as a place he had found where things were unchanging. He could jump off a cliff and land unharmed and run off, because any change to his body is impossible. Nothing in the place moves, nothing is alive except Lodda, and no amount of effort on his part will alter anything. His nether is like a three dimensional photograph, frozen in a moment, unchanging and unchangeable. Neither, entering it, nor bringing things into it, causes a change to the actual place. Nothing is recognized, nothing is reacted to. Not a single grain of sand is moved by walking there, and not an atom of air is actually breathed. I think it's one reason this was a nether he could enter bodily, because it caused no changes to occur in either the place or himself. As a prison, it is the perfect place for a life sentence, and, one that will never be over. Mages are known by their efforts. I don't think it will be long before Jamie, Garvin, and Snave are accepted in the town for exactly who they are.
  23. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

My hat's off to you for that one!
  24. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

That sounds like you'd sit through a sequel.
  25. Geron Kees

    Chapter 36

I'm happy you enjoyed the story. I almost always leave a few things hanging in my stories, on the chance there might be a sequel.
