  1. I have been to the site and seen that it has not been updated since August 18th. There is no news there. Nor have I received any email updates in a while. And, lastly, Chuck has not replied to my emails, either. I have just been hoping it's something simple.

    Chapter 27

There was some confusion in the original text. I originally wrote Seeri as Wanda's niece, and then changed it to her being Wanda's great-great-granddaughter. Even with 'find', I apparently missed some instances. If you see any more 'aunts' here, let me know, please. I see no reason that Seeri and Rier can't come back in the future. Note to self...

    Chapter 27

    Maybe!

    Chapter 25

Probably. I was too busy looking for the darn broom!
  5. Geron Kees

    Chap 1

More situations where DRAMATIC gay stories can happen, you mean?
  6. Geron Kees

    Chapter 25

That was a broom. When Mickey tried to get the plumber, all he got was a voicemail!

    Chapter 25

It's certainly cheaper than conjuring the plumber!

    Chapter 25

    As is plunging magic.
  9. A small tale, a short tale, a buttery tale, and a fun tale! Creamy or nutty, take your pick!

    Chapter 1

I tend to agree that there could be more added to this sweet tale. I think demand drives expectations. Don't you?
  11. Geron Kees

    Chapter 25

It seems we are all agreed it's a plumber and not an electrumician!
  12. Geron Kees

    Chapter 25

I'd bet a magic plumber is fairly hard to conjure up!
  13. Geron Kees

    Chapter 25

That's a good way of putting it!
  14. Geron Kees

    Chapter 23

    Chapter 22

I tried to make all the people in Jamie's group interesting. But each brings something to the group, no matter how small. They work together, which is the key to their success.

    Chapter 21

Porvus still considers them a nuisance, because he is too busy with other things. That may change!

    Chapter 18

Oh, absolutely. I wasn't arguing that at all!

    Chapter 20

Learning about life is important to any quest. Without the learning experience, it's just a long road trip with lots of angst.

    Chapter 18

Any technology's relationship to magic is based entirely upon the level of the culture in which it is deployed. A Model-T car would seem a magical conveyance to someone used to a Roman chariot as a means of getting to the nearest war. Barry Gehm was interested in gee-whiz marketing to the easily-impressed masses. Clarke was interested in comparing a belief in magic to a lack of understanding of the technologies involved. One statement is basically about creating an impression that sells - fooling people; and the other is about not allowing yourself to BE fooled by your initial impressions.

But not hunky chaps with blooms!

    Exactly!
  24. Geron Kees

    Chapter 18

Friends look out for each other!
  25. Geron Kees

    Chapter 18

One of Arthur C. Clarke's Three Laws is, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." What seems incredible to us now may be routine in a mere century of time! 🪄
