Urvan would be the Sheriff of Nottingham. Porvus would be Prince John.

The similarities to the Robin Hood tale are not intentional.

    Chapter 27

Some things must logically follow. Thorvil's lack of an appearance plainly had a reason. I hope!
  12. The tunnel reminded them of the maintenance tunnels they had traveled before, though this one had no running water alongside. And where that other tunnel system had been alive with the sound of moving water, this one was almost eerily silent. Their footfalls echoed briefly from the flooring, and then seemed somehow absorbed, so that only one truly distinct repetition reached their ears. It made it sound like there were more of them than there were, and also put Jamie in mind of a horse passing b

    Chapter 1

I never worked in a thrift shop, but I'm an ardent believer in the old saw that 'one man's trash is another man's treasure'. The things people give to thrift shops sometimes amazes me. I am a bit of a treasure hunter, and very much enjoy Indiana Jonesing these places. I wish there were more of them in my area!

    Chapter 26

The term 'electrum' here was meant to cover a variety of electromagnetic forces, as Jamie sort of sees them lumped together at first, and is only slowly sorting them out. But that he responds to both 'electrical' as well as 'radio' wavelengths, but sees little difference in them, should be noted.

Okay. We'll get some handsome young men to carry you around in a sedan chair for the next quest! "Careful, lads! You'll spill my tea!"

    Chapter 26

What I always felt about NYC was that if there was a nuclear holocaust, parts of the city would look unchanged!

    Chapter 23

Our power is generated locally, I think. The hard part is keeping the squirrels running on the little wheel!

The grid works in mysterious ways! Probably a Charlie Boone story in that!

    Thank you, too!

    Chapter 25

There are some contributions by all the characters. That comes and goes. As Jamie's magick progresses, it's harder for the others to keep up. They will have less to offer, even though Jamie is continually encouraging them to speak their minds. But I tried to ensure that no one got left out. Irk has more to do soon. Everyone can now translocate. Not everyone can move others along with themselves, though, as only Jamie has the 'glove' that boosts the magick for this. The next story I plan to post is a new one, not part of any series I've done yet. After that, it will be time for the Halloween Charlie Boone. Unless a miracle happens and I find a time-stretcher, it will be early next year before another Door story might be managed. Sorry!
