Atta boy Cody!!!! Way to tell it straight to Jake. Jake doesn’t deserve Cody, so I’m so happy to see him reconnecting with Luke. Cody deserves someone who loves him unconditionally! -
All I can think of is poor Cody. He’s lost everything because of his feelings for Jake. His family, his home……now the love of his life. I hope Jakes plane crashes in the wilderness lol

Jake is such a douche. I cannot stand him! HE is the one who came on to Cody years ago, HE is the one who forced Cody to acknowledge that he’s gay. HE is the one who pushed Cody for a relationship, which ultimately caused Cody to lose everything. Now, he wants to jet off into the sunset with Ethan. What an absolute dick!

So there it is…..Jakes isn’t in love with Cody. And I’m so sick of Jake making everything about him! He gets mad at everyone else for “making this about them”, yet he does nothing but make everything about himself. He’s an asshat. I hope Cody calls Luke and goes back to him. At least Luke truly had feelings for him, unlike Jake. -
You know it’s a GREAT story when readers get emotionally invested in the characters lol. All of our thoughts and comments should bring a huge smile to the face of @James Matthewsknowing he’s created a story that his readers get so engrossed in!

I feel so bad for Cody. He’s the one who is about to have it broken off in him with all of this happening. Jake will leave him for Ethen, and poor Cody who has been loyal, loving, and supportive will get the shaft. I really can’t stand Jake any more.

Exactly what I thought!! I had said in a previous chapter that Ethans dad was acting sketchy at the funeral home and his actions gave me the creeps. And with him working for an Intelligence agency, no telling how many times his job has required them to go underground. I think it’s awfully suspect!

Oh Jake……you stupid bastard. You’re going to lose the most amazing man because you choose to live in the past. Poor Cody. He deserves so much more than to be a substitute bed partner. Jake takes his love, his dick, and his compassion and gives nothing back. This first chapter already pissed me off at Jake lol

I think Corbin is just starting to realize a few things about himself…..his slip of thinking of the “boy” instead of “boat” is the tell-tale sign he’s got a certain young American boy on the brain. -
Loved this whole series!! Would love to see a follow up of them a few years on and living their lives. Would also love a stand alone on Dean and how he’s doing!!

I’m curious, I didn’t know Dean had a brother? He was just kind of dumped in there in this chapter. Does he know about Dean and his Uncle? Did the uncle do the same thing to the brother??? I’m so glad Joey is. Ow able to let Jack have room to grow without smothering him and controlling him. Great growth!!! -
I’ve been a huge fan of Jacks, but in this chapter he’s a right proper dick! He is just as much to blame as Roman. Actually, even more so! He’s in a committed relationship whereas Roman isn’t fully committed to Olly and isn’t living with him. Jack needs to rethink his crap and realize he owns it just as much as Ro.

I hope Dean isn’t the next one to off himself to escape the pain of life. Joey really needs to get his shit together and be a better friend to him! He’s going to need a friend!
