The previous night had been tough. The next day was a little tense. The agents were still having to adjust to how things were different. It was after lunch when Colin and I got up. When we arrived at the office we used with the agents, Shelly, Mark, and Ruben were discussing what we’d been through earlier that night. Stan had shown them the 3D images we had of the little vampire. “…but he was a child.” Shelly said to Stan like she’s said it before. Stan looked very uneasy as he scratched

The search for other vampires in Manhattan began and Stan used his programs to search for other disappearances and deaths that had yet to be explained. He seemed to be enjoying working with the computer, but he also was very dedicated to the search and looking for clues. I got the feeling he had been more of a geek in high school. While not really enthusiastic about sports maybe, he was fit. A little on the thin side, but I watched as Mark would remind him of simple things like it was time for l

We had begun to get an office together for the agents to work out of on a lower floor. This was a room with no windows if only to protect the equipment we had in here. It was cold, almost. Computers generated heat! There would be several people working there and equipment, so there was a lot of room. Stan’s eyes grew when he saw the computers. He walked over and looked at all the computer monitors and CPUs. “Easy, Stan.” Mark grinned as he leaned toward me. “He’ll be hyperventilating if we’r

Oops! You've never seen a woman or man with both!? It happens. But I slipped. It's corrected.

And why do you think I made him blonde? In fact, I created two blondes with you in mind! Now, you can pick.

Things with Amanda were not good, not because she was resistant, but the pain she had to endure for the first few days was leaving her a bit disheartened and glum. She was new and then again, so was I, so I opted to talk to her. There was one major difference between us. I was a vampire because I chose to be, she hadn’t been given the option. Ursula talked to her, Gabriella talked to her and now I walked in where she was sitting as she watched TV. The door was open a crack. She’d been given a r

“You knew there were others!” Even I thought it was an accusation. Colin shrugged a nod. “I knew there were others. I said I knew of two I knew by name.” Then he grinned. “Well, three. The others I saw, but we didn’t get to know each other.” He frowned as he thought. “We are vampires, but we are still social creatures by nature. We will seek each other out.” “Why?” “For safety?” Colin shrugged as he answered the question. “Like just now. We didn’t confront them now because there were

The situation with Amanda was tense, but her attacker…that was just disheartening. We entered the room where the male vampire was still looking for a way out. He turned to us and immediately hissed. He started to come at us, sniffed and stopped. “That’s right,” Colin said to him. “You won’t find us very good to feed on.” “We’re vampires, too,” I said quietly. “What’s your name?” The reply I got was just a hiss again. He returned to looking for an escape. We were forgotten as he went

We flew back to Charleston. We took Alex with us, which Gabriella was too happy about. Colin was not convinced about it. Of course, he would be, he’s her father. It didn’t matter that she had been turned in her mid-thirties or that she nearly as old as he was. The spin and usual when seeing Wentworth. Alex did the whole thing as he looked amazed. “Wow,” Alex said simply. “Is this VUN’s, or yours?” He looked at Colin. Colin smiled. “I was my family’s, now it’s ours.” He pointed

Another day at sea. We did the stops at Sir Samuels for our coffees and generally just took it easy. I did have a second appointment with the Canyon Ranch Spa for my tanning. Tony waited patiently as I was taken care of. When I was done, he stood grinning. “Are there any tan lines now?” “You’ll have to see for yourself later.” I grinned as I passed him. He chuckled. “I plan to see that.” Tonight, wasn’t a formal night, but we dressed casually for dinner. Tony was hungry

The armpit thing is a little gross. Try again.

I haven't worked it out! Cinderfella was easy. The tale would be different. Those were samples. I propose a thought. If same gender marriage is okay in several countries now, what if Prince Harry turned out to be gay? It's legal to marry in England. If he married a man?
-
I haven't worked out Rapunzel. Nor Napping Buff Guy. I have another in the works now. Rapunzel was locked in a tower and let the witch up by her hair. I need more time with that. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, that has possibilities. I'm writing something now. Again, it will be grand!!
-
Yeah, but that's another story. There are other fairy tales that could use a gay twist. I've got two in my head now! It's percolating. Those could involve Seth and Erik. The truth is...I was running out of plots!! Impossible!! There's Napping Buff Guy (Sleeping Beauty), but not Repunzel. I'm sorry, but guys don't attract me with long hair. To me, that's just...wrong. There's more coming. Just not for Seth and Erik right now. They're tired!

Seth was putting Dennis down as I put Toby in his bed. I looked at their precious faces. “I feel there is an end coming. Badly. I just hope they have a world to grow up in.” Seth nodded. “It will end and it is bad, but we knew there will be an end.” He hugged me. “But they and others like our boys will make things better. You heard Demetrius and Dara. They are the future.” He kissed me gently then looked at me with a smile. “I’ll go light the tank. We could both use some time with just us.”

Alexander Chance Returns to the World
R. Eric commented on R. Eric's story chapter in Alexander Chance Returns to the World
I keep getting flashes of "The Shadow." Remember? Alec Baldwin? The shadow knows? Shadow is good, but needs refining. They're seeking beings that live in the shadows. Shadow Hunters? Seekers? -

Alexander Chance Returns to the World
R. Eric commented on R. Eric's story chapter in Alexander Chance Returns to the World
No vampire in the name. Remember? It would freak people out. VUN is just for the vampires, but now there will be civilians in the task force. So, no vampires in the title. Sorry. -
Alexander Chance Returns to the World
R. Eric posted new chapter in Blueblood: A Dark Southern Aristocracy
Things were slowly coming back to normal. We instructed Mom and Gabriella to come to Manhattan before we all went back to Charleston. “I wonder why we haven’t heard from Alexander Chance?” Colin pondered. “I assume he’s in New York or at least nearby.” “Why?” I asked. “His great, great nephew works in New York, but his great, great niece is the Congresswoman from Maryland. They probably spread out through the generations.” I pulled Colin closer. “You can text Ruben and ask him.” Coli- 10 comments

You are all crazy! Billy Burke was hot in Twilight! I didn't watch because Bella or those others, not werewolf or vampire. Charlie is no old horse. And I love cruises. I prefer them to any form of relaxation. People bowing and kissing butt because they're paid to! And there is more! I can only write so much.

You hit the nail on the head! I'm writing about my husband in North Meets South, but writing the next few chapters of that story is hard. I have memories I'd rather not have reopened. I will write about it, I just can't now. In this story, I keep Daniel alive as a vampire. I changed me into a vampire. I keep him alive in my mind and heart. I carry him with me, symbolically, everyday. I see him when I wake and just before I go to sleep and talk to him all day. He will always be with me.

It took a few hours, but we were told that Taylor was being brought in, at last. He was not fighting anyone and carried some books he handed to Burke. “I was told you needed these,” Theo said, but looked as Colin, George, Burke and I were standing there. “Is something wrong?” He looked puzzled as the men that accompanied him came closer to him and now some other men were coming into the hallway. Burke took the books. “Thank you.” He said softly and then looked at Theo. “Who are you worki

Yes, but it still is about romance, but they live in a world where things happen. The romance is there, but they're married. Now comes life!
-
Now, there were a lot of beings like us and coming together was going to be difficult. First was the trust thing. Second, was the technology problem. According to Burke, a lot of the older ones (those vampires created before the twentieth century) were less likely to use modern technology, which I couldn’t understand. It helped things move quicker. “What’s so bad about getting email?” I asked Burke as we all sat in our library/music room. Burke chuckled. “Nothing. It’s just that some of
