Yuppers. First thing I did this morning, after the trip to Wally-world (Shudders), was work on mine after the Prof sent back the graded Week 4 rough drafts. I'm letting it stew some before I submit it to the plagiarism checker and upload it for grading.

I've been using my writing here on GA as examples of my writing approach, and a different classmate asked if I would look over his paper if he needed help. I said sure, my student email is on my profile. The professor applauded that I offered to help him. I think she read, that post and thought I would do it for her too.

Badly written. By her own admission, she scored 0/15 points on the Week 4 rough draft. I can see why.

Most are suspense/thriller style. He did write one with his mom. The ones I've read were well thought out and had some interesting twists. Plots within plots. He's very descriptive with scene setting. It's good, but can come across as "fluff." Which is expected, sort of, in the publishing world, and needing to "pad the pages." According to his website, he's branched out to do Erotic Romance and Supernatural Thrillers. The part of Christopher Rice's writing that tim reminds me of is the well thought out plot, and character depth.

Finally got it, and I was dragged out of the house kicking and screaming this morning. I had to go to Walmart. Alright, a bit dramatic there, but *sigh* I had to go to Walmart. Surprisingly... there was not a soul to be found, aside from the workers, and two little old ladies in the bakery department looking at the marked down baked goods. Well, I was too.

I've read a few of his. I bought in hardback, his debut novel A Density of Souls, that he wrote when he was 22. And he co-wrote a story with his mother Ramses The Dammned: The Passion Of Cleopatra. Oh, and he's gay. A Density of Souls, made his mother ask him, "Did this happen to you?"

Have I mentioned lately, that patience isn't a virtue that I have? LOL. Nah, the last chapter he sent me, chapter 7, left me with wanting to know what happens next. There have been some heartbreaking scenes over the last seven chapters. A lot of positive stuff, but a few, where tim expertly slams his fist into your chest and rips out your heart, all Temple of Doom style. Which is a good thing. Let's just say, after reading what I have so far with Changes 2, I feel that tim needs to publish both Changes 1 and Changes 2. It's that fraking good.

If he's doing changes 2, then usually after he does the edits he passes it to miss molly and me. I'm jonesing for the next chapter. 🙂

tim tells me that a lot... often followed by, "You can do better than this A." I didn't realize what the premise of this story was until he told me after I read the little teaser. I was floored.

LOL, thanks. I would be doing schoolwork, but I've done everything I can until the professor gives back last week assignment. Just minor stuff with TC4-C1. tim gave me some great feedback on a couple of spots that needed work. TC4-C2 working on one scene at a time, and then taking a break before going back to it. Just plotting Cia's game, which is turning into a pain. I'm trying to hit the minimum word count of 100 words. The Alex and Dean is just outlining. After the one I did last year, I felt I should revisit them.

Doing well, Mac. Working on my writing projects: Tampa Chronicles 4 C1 and C2, Cia's Christmas newsletter game, and a Christmas story with Alex and Dean. And listening to some Bing Crosby Christmas songs.
