Thank you!
Yes Ryder's reaction is to overreact because he is a teen who does not know any better and who is full of anxiety and he doesn't have his safety net he really doesn't have alot of people he trusts to turn to at this point.
Hey thank you! Well all the stress and anxiety Ryder has been feeling is leading up to these next few chapters! The tension with his Dad will continue but it will hit a boiling point!
Hey! Well me and my last editor had a disagreement, and we parted ways, I know it can be a drag waiting for the story, but they are edited way better, and I get to change a few minor things. Plus it helps me with writing new chapters, trust me they are coming!
After we finish eating breakfast, my dad looks at me. "Feel like going to the field and tossing the ball around for a little while?"
"Do you like to eat steak?" I ask.
He just grins. "That's my boy. Last toss around for a few weeks, until we can get school, practice, and games in a good pattern."
I run upstairs and throw on a different tank top, and grab an extra pair of shorts, boxers, and tank top. I always have to shower after we toss the ball around.
Thank you, Ryder's dad is a complex character He wants what is best for Ryder and alot of times he thinks that not focusing on the past is what is best for him, other times he gets overwhelmed because he cannot control what is happening to him. I am happy to hear you are hooked thank you!
The trauma he experienced is a huge amount, he probably knows more than what he will ever let on, because deep down he doesn't want to put that on others that guilt of knowing what happened, then again alot of it he has just blocked out. School will be awkward for him

He is definitely finding his voice more now. He expects everyone to make the first move because he feels a bit awkward when he does it, because what if he's rejected.
The next week doesn’t go by as quickly as I would like; it still seems like most of the team resents me. I mean, none of them are hostile towards me, but they don’t go out of their way to talk to me. Which really sucks if I can be honest, but I never let it show. Shawn actually does talk to me a lot, and I can tell other players want to as well, but they just don’t know how to approach me.
As usual, I’m the last one left in the locker room waiting for my dad., Shawn has lon
