    Chapter 3

Another great chapter here, Wayne. I enjoy your writing style. It feels very natural, not contrived. Corbin speaks and understands Italian... I'm guessing not something he actually learned in school. The mystery continues, and I'm looking forward to the reveal.

    Chapter 2

A slow, careful unfolding of the mystery continues. I like the nefarious feel of the story contrasted against Corbin's insecurities and physical attraction to Paul. I, too, am curious about who Liam is/was and what precipitated Corbin's relocation to the countryside.
  3. Yep, I just went through this. Luckily, I discovered fraudulent activity right away. Only one transaction occurred.
  4. Congratulations to the band!

    Life Goes On

Excellent chapter. you say so much without over-telling. A long description about everyone's feelings post-funeral is unnecessary, because we, as readers, can fill in the blanks with our own perceptions and understandings about how the characters are dealing with the situation. The same is true for Max - you provide just enough insight to pull out our heartstrings and make us long for peace for that boy. We can interpret his needs with empathy. And, you give us hope that he will receive some of that peace with care from Louis and Don. There's a lot of love in this chapter, and you present it brilliantly.
  22. Best of luck to Number Two and the competition.
