Awww, but guessing is half the fun! 😆 I really enjoy stories like this full of mysteries and secrets to ponder between chapters.

This kind of Dean, apparently. I'm honestly thinking Connor burst into his office complaining about how the partying was out of control and something had to be done about it, and he was too lazy to verify what Connor was telling him. But if there's a chance he or the university could be held liable for what this escalated into, you can bet he'll be paying attention now. Call me cynical, but I feel his attitude is a general laissez-faire until there's a real risk the school could get sued or lose money over it.

Maybe it's set in Europe? 🤷‍♂️ If anything, the ancients would be our future, because I don't think we're able to make concrete and steel that lasts 4000 years without deteriorating. And this is starting to feel like Jamie and crew are on some random planet we colonised. Makes me wonder what some of these structures were originally used for...

No no, you've got John and Connor now. That's a 2-for-1 deal. I also hear Connor's pretty cute when he's not talking, and that's an easy problem to fix. And as for Rusty, you want me to put my mouth on him instead? Because honestly that sounds pretty fun too. 😇

I'm pretty sure they're both waiting to see who blinks first. My guess is Rusty, since Matty seems to know how to counter his usual teasing methods.

I doubt it, I'm pretty sure that person would have made the connection between Matty visiting their room before and after Slicky's appearances, and there's no way Xpress would pass up this juicy piece of gossip. I'm also pretty sure Xpress is actually a group of people, and they have eyes and ears everywhere.

Ahh, but Connor is a narcissist. I wouldn't be surprised if he thought he could bluff and BS his way out of that conversation and the Dean wouldn't question his version of events. Either way, this isn't going to end well for him. He might even have to leave Sunny Hill in disgrace and move far away, and some time later we'll find out he became the leader of some weird gay sex cult. But that's just speculation on my part. 😉

I don't think Dean Preston has been getting the full picture of what's happening, most likely only the spin Connor has been putting on things. I believe this situation is about to be rectified, considering what Connor did is close to, if not actually, a crime. I'm sure Francine will make the Dean see the error of his ways. 😉

And Connor continues to orchestrate his own demise, what a delightful thing to watch. There are few things more dangerous than a spurned lover who put you in a position of influence. If he made you, chances are he can just as easily unmake you. This is the wake-up call John needed, I hope he heeds it and realises Connor was just using him. If John was with Connor from the start, I bet he has a lot of dirt on that slimy snake. 😄 I had a feeling John would end up being the "least expected source" and it looks like I may end up being partially right. It seems obvious to me that Zoey got her wish, and Dex did in fact notice her. Is another happy couple on the horizon? Now my question is: what happened to the cat suit, is it compromised? Will Matty be able to sneak it out and hide it somewhere else (perhaps alongside a certain masked singer costume) without being caught? That Operation Rescue was a very tense situation, and Rusty deserves the nice relaxing massage I'm about to give him. I take good care of my man, after all. 😇

John wants Matty, but he's way too vanilla for our little kitty. Someone needs to ask Connor how banning booze and turning the campus into some kind of police state will solve those other, more important issues.

Rusty and Matty will succeed, in no small part because people like Connor are often the architects of their own downfall. But our Dynamic Duo will make it far more entertaining.

He get this one little victory and he's already acting all sanctimonious and abusing whatever power and authority he thinks he just gained. Big Tough Guy called security because someone threw candy at him. 😂 What's going to happen now is they're just going to ignore him and not do much to enforce his new draconian rules. And maybe turn the other way as Rybalt's resistance catches on and students start throwing candy at Connor everywhere he goes. 😇 And here I was so sure Slicky was going to make an appearance... So now we have the game of who will give away his alter ego first, coupled with the both of them planning a concerted attack on Connor and his goons. This is going to be great. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go give my Rusty his reward for a job well done. 😉

I'm thinking back to last chapter when he pointed at Jonathan and Maddox and said "That thing, I have it!" and after hearing what he said just now, I'm sure he meant their lover and boyfriend status.

Does that mean you'll finally stop with your delusions and let him move in with me, where he belongs? Because clearly Rusty needs to be kept safe from you. 😊
