Haha! Very funny and appropriate joke for this chapter. It is very ironic that his name is Lucky, considering he's also Prince Charming, and a charm is supposed to grant a person luck and...you know what I mean. And you're right that dealing with a witch, equivalent to a drug deal in the real world, would not have ended well nine times out of ten, but it does show Lucky's desperation for what he's trying to accomplish. It's funny how Lucky was the one who got rescued instead, especially by Zev whose origins make the joke even funnier 😄

Thank you for the comment! The Snow Queen's origins will definitely be revealed towards the end of the first part, and what I can say right now is that it is connected with the other witch and Lilith herself. As for Lucky's father, he is indeed as ass, but there's so much we don't know about him in terms of his relationship with his former wife and eldest son, and hopefully that will be explained in the next part of the story.

Writers, How Do You Come Up With Chapter Titles?

I read a young adult book with a gay main character a few years ago that used a significant dialogue quote from each chapter as the chapter titles. I thought that was very unique, and it really helped me to know what to anticipate before reading the chapter. -

Yeah, right now I'm writing the first chapter of a new story called Charming: The Spindle in first person. It's a spinoff of Charming, which is in third person. So that'll be exciting and hopefully you can check the new story out once I publish it 😀

Thank you! I usually write in the third person, but I do feel more connected to the story when I write in the first person, so I might do more of that in the future. And you'll see if Mike wants to uses his powers for good or for world domination.
