Oh for goodness sake, when’s the next story coming out about Robert and Freddy? as I have watched numerous episode of Mathewsons classic car auctions I have heard of Pickering in Yorkshire, even though they are based in Thornton- le -Dale

Your grandmother sounds like she cooked the same things as mine did, I grew up in Eastwood (NSW) Kraft cheese in the blue box was also something that I liked, dad liked Devon and tomato sauce on his sandwiches, I hate that stuff. Coon cheese was ok but Bega cheese is better or Vegemite sandwiches. Some things that I miss as I live in London and we don’t get these things here, or though we can get Tim Tams and Vegemite.

I love ox tongue with gherkins really tasty on sandwiches Nanna used to make brawn with pigs trotters, gherkins and other things. I didn’t like tripe with what sauce and parsley, but lambs fry, onions, gravy and mashed potatoes, yum. I also like Haggis, neeps and tatties, a very Scottish dish

A really good chapter and I am pleased that Graham and Matt have finally opened up to each other about their lives. one important question was it a lamb or chicken biryani? I love a good biryani, lots of faff in making it but it’s great for leftovers. My husband makes a good chicken biryani his mothers one is just a bit too spicy 🥵

I did say a few chapters ago that Freddie is gay, I am pleased that he has uncle Graham to be able to talk to as he discovers himself, I think that he will make a good accountant. This story must be set in summer as it’s too damn cold at the moment to be naked all day. -

I like this story, if it is part of the Thompsonville series it would help us if we knew what order to read them in. I remember having to dissect a rat in high school, one of the girls fainted while it was being done, she had the nickname of McBeth because she fainted when Lady McBeth was beheaded in the movie, which we saw as part of our English lessons, we were studying McBeth at the time.
