It was good to understand Clarke’s background, what a horrible home life they all had, it seems that the father was trapped in a life that he didn’t want to be part of and he has taking his unhappiness out on his family, when he should have been man enough to admit that he was in terrible position and leave his wife, although she was no better than him by not sticking up for her children and telling him that the abuse needed to stop, the family doctor should also have been investigated for hiding what was truly happening in that family. -

A good chapter, I thought that Clarke was gay as he was picking on Asher and Seth in school, and trying to act straight and macho but so pleased that he is able to be himself. When I bought my current car I bought it as nearly new, it was 4 months old with 2,500 miles on it but the best thing is I saved £8,500 of the new car price.

My dad had to have an angioplasty as he had blocked arteries, he quit smoking after that and never needed a cigarette again as it frightened the daylights out of him

Ethan has made an interesting comment that he can’t get politicians to address climate issues when the current Australian PM could not be bothered to attend Cop 26, he is now only going due to global pressure on him to attend the summit, that says a lot about the man. He has shown poor leadership during the last few years during the fire season by going away on holidays instead of visiting the areas that have had major fires, when he did cut his holiday short and came home, he was heckled by the public when he did tour those areas, and he also still backing the coal industry in Australia.

Loved this chapter and also it was good to see a bit of a history lesson in it as well, I will be visiting the Blue Mountains next year when I go back to visit my family and friends in Sydney.

Friends of mine were evacuated from their home in Yellow Rock near Springwood, several of their neighbours lost their homes to bushfires in October 2013, there were 248 homes and other structures were lost in the worst fires since the 1960s, 118,000 hectares (290,000 acres) of land was burnt with an estimated cost of AUD$94 million dollars in the State of New South Wales. The Greater Blue Mountains and adjacent National Parks are a World Heritage Site
