That man is a complete ass, and so full of himself as well as chauvinistic that you need a good woman to clean the house, and pushing poor Rick into getting engaged to her, he doesn’t need supervision and if senior just let him get on with his life and enjoy retirement everyone would be happy, I don’t know how Trudy puts up with him.

Ideally you have a daily driver for that, Classic cars are meant to be enjoyed for what they are and fussed over when cleaning her, Which is exactly what I do 🚘

I like Caroline, she seems to be a no nonsense person. Rita reminds me of Beverley Hofstader from Big Bang Theory, she is also an irritating person.

Rick really needs to sort out his finances, he has a shop does he really need it? does he need to keep Irene on? Apart from some bookkeeping and answering call, what else does she do? She should be chasing Rita for her unpaid invoices. If Irene was to go he could use as Virtual PA do it all and he would save money, as the old man is still involved I think he may struggle to do this. Does any of this benefit the business? He also needs to look at how much he charges people for the jobs that he does, increase his prices a bit, no discounts we also knows that he under values his work by doing all of this. Then maybe he can buy a new van, it looks unprofessional turning up in an old clapped out work van. He also needs to revamp his image a bit. And don’t get involved with any of Rita’s schemes, I think that she is Trouble. I think that Gus and Helene have broken up if ever they were a couple and he has bought the Kolher place. Or is this my wishful thinking?? ❤️🌈🥰

We know that Rita moans about tax amongst other things, but I would have thought a tradesman would have been beneath her high esteem of herself, how does she know that he is not married? I suppose the gossip in town has told her as much

Oh my god, never ever use a cell phone when filling a vehicle with fuel, it’s extremely hazardous and dangerous, it could result in a fire if a spark ignites the fuel

I would like to see Willy living in a trailer park with a trashy wife, and a couple of rugrats after daddy has thrown him out of the family house because he has a lot of children with different women and he owes a lot of money for child support.

I had a hunch where this was going with Willy trying to seduce Rick, I had guessed in the previous chapter that there was some trauma in young Rick’s life which is why he is still single and keeps to himself. He should have left the town years ago and made a new life for himself elsewhere.

Great chapter, but it’s a shame that Ritch didn’t bury trumpet and some of his fossilised republican friends while in Wyoming. And still nothing further on what happened in Mexico and we may have to wait several months to get answers. 😒
