    Definitely, Jonathan was looking to compliment Maddox with the nickname given, and, in not so veiled way, also that Maddox was an ace in bed, too. As for Rusty, today's episode is all going to be about his take on the matter.

    Yes, exactly! Even if there are things happening behind the scenes, so to speak, I like to believe that I hinted at them enough, even with a narrow point of view - such as Jonathan not being able to see what was going on at his house during the Thanksgiving he missed.

    O. M. G., where do I start? That was, once again, an amazing poem. Yes, from Jonathan's dismounting with the grace of a true blue blood, to Rusty's pinky being in danger... Maddox's reply as a true boyfriend... to Francine 'motherly' introduction... Rusty retires the king, yes, it was about time, since perks and skills Maddox no longer has are required... And this line... 'Do you have a magic stick; to turn Maddox’s hate to gay loving smirk?' - just killer You truly are the best poem weaver in the land!

    I didn't think of Mr. Simmons that way when I created his character, but that's the beauty of writing something and putting it out into the world! The readers' input is invaluable.

    Chapter Forty-Three – Just Derpy Things Jonathan was as silent as a cat as he slunk along the wall and then raised his hand to knock softly on Maddox’s door. Without waiting to be invited in, he turned the doorknob and snuck inside, all the while making sure that no one was roaming the hallways at that hour. He gasped in surprise as he found himself face to face with Maddox, who must have gotten close without him realizing it, as busy as he had been with getting inside the room undetected.

    I love writing secondary characters sometimes. And I had such a picture in mind of Mr. Simmons, a dignified butler, but one with a quick wit and a penchant for a bit of benign irony. He's a man who has seen things and met a lot of people. He was the most indicated to read Rusty.
