I think they were wondering what kept bugging Maddox and why he didn't want to say a thing about his most recent secret crush. They're all pretty smart people, and it was kind of like - oh, so that was why he was hiding it from us - The guys will have plenty of time to explore their feelings - as I have many chapters planned for the story - but the first thing they experience and it's quite overwhelming is the attraction between them. Ray, and all the friends, will have a role in the story, and, as besties, they will be there As for what will happen... well, the next chapter will tell!

The master mind... does exist, and I won't say anything else so that I don't spoil the future surprises I have planned. There will be explanations, and even though the situation appears so difficult to disentangle at this point, I will make it so that it all becomes clear by the time the story finishes. Yes, you are right, there are many things that can happen, many directions, so it's up to me to deliver the one that's the most satisfying. Thank you for your comment! There are other forces at work that have so far remained in the shadow except for brief appearances, so all the confusion is totally legit. Yes, the big question is, and I'm trying to make it clear through the story - what makes the person you love the one you love? Is how they look really that important? Or is it something else? I won't promise that the answers will be easy. It's something I'm trying to figure out how to convey in the clearest way possible, but it's a challenge I'm willing to undertake. Thank you for your comment! I love it when people see through the text, beyond it, and detect these questions I'm trying to raise with my stories.
