Chapter Eight – New Feelings Detention so far meant nothing else but more studying, so Sebastian felt more and more intrigued by the punishment system in this world. Maybe it was cruel enough that his phone had been taken away, so the powers that be didn’t intend to crush his spirit any further. “Hey, don’t worry,” a girl from his left whispered. “He’ll give us the phones back once detention’s over.” “Oh,” Sebastian said. Now that was a refreshing thought. While the history book i

Am I Supposed To Make Dragons Cry?

Oh, and what a confrontation that will be! (Not saying anything to avoid foreshadowing and such, but man, what I have in mind... rubs hands in glee) -
Am I Supposed To Make Dragons Cry?
Laura S. Fox commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Am I Supposed To Make Dragons Cry?
Sebastian is bound to make Milo feel embarrassed many times, and even have him say embarrassing things! As for Kai, he's living the adventure of a lifetime. Details on how to complete quests not included, but we have an OP MC, so it should all be good! -
Am I Supposed To Make Dragons Cry?

Kai believes himself to be invincible, aka OP, and according to the games he played and anime he watched, nothing bad can come his way! Hence, the source of his craziness! But he can't seem to be capable of not noticing what a handsome man Conrad is, and there's that, too! And Pepin is in for the long ride, if you know what I mean (exaggerated wink to the point of being awkward just to get people to notice my puns) Sebastian won't get any ballads in this world, unfortunately. He might consider it a personal affront, that if he has any time left to spare after confronting with the temptation that is Milo! And loved that you appreciate the surrender the phone part ... I liked it, too, lol! -

Am I Supposed To Make Dragons Cry?
Laura S. Fox posted new chapter in This Strange World Needs A Kicking!
Chapter Seven – Am I Supposed To Make Dragons Cry? Luckily, Pepin was already inside the royal chambers, busy dusting around with a feathery implement. “What happened?” he asked and hurried to them. “Conrad’s hurt. Bring the court’s physician,” Kai said in a steady voice. It was all a fantasy or a dream or a BL show, and probably he would get pulled to the real world anytime soon, but that didn’t mean that he would take the situation lightly. “Right away,” Pepin replied with- 11 comments

He-he... I thought long and hard about the title, so thanks! Conrad... well, he really surprised everyone, I hope! As for Kai facing dragons, I can only say that he barely waits to see what's what. Dragons might be just a tad different than what he knows from video games. Just saying! I bet Tani's mom agrees with you... let's say that she's just getting a hold of the tamest shonen-ai in existence... what could it be? I don't know... maybe Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi or Junjou Romantica? I saw them a long time ago, but they weren't heavy on the adult stuff if I remember correctly. Or Gravitation, that was the first I saw on TV.

I was expecting a pun or two... but three! You made my day! Kai might have to work on his heroic act, as there's a long way there... as for Sebastian, being the clever guy he is, he quickly took to technology! In all honesty, we're all sharing Tani's curiosity, right?

I couldn't have rickrolled you all... It would have been bad of me! But glad to put an obsessive musical piece (see how grandiosely I speak of my creations) in your head!

Chapter Six – …Is No Flatscape Kai was thankful for Prince Sebastian’s cold blood, as it looked like he was incapable of blushing. The minstrel walked forward, brushed his fingers across an instrument that looked like a lyre, and began singing in a loud yet quite pleasant voice. He’s Prince Sebastian, and he fights evil No one in the world’s his equal He’s the most handsome; he’s the bravest, And all know, he’s also the lewdest Oh, gawd, it was starting. Kai covered

Songs About Majestic Things
Laura S. Fox commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Songs About Majestic Things
I think Milo will handle this new Kai just fine As for what will happen when the truth comes to light... oh, boy, it will be something! And that's all I'm about to say! This story updates every Sunday! It has become a little bit of a tradition for me on this site to have at least one story that comes live with a new chapter on this day. Thank you for enjoying my story! -

OMG, the image you put in my head about Kai's body after Sebastian takes care of it... Although, at least one decade or two might pass before Sebastian would end up like this, lol! Well, I have to admit that I didn't google or youtube for kissing tutorials, but Sebastian had to come up with something! As for Kai, you're indeed right about him being an airhead. It's practically his middle name. Of course, that will only complicate things, instead of keeping them simple, as he intends. Next time, the song! -
Songs About Majestic Things

He-he, then I should use my special powers to see if Wes is weeding flower beds the next time I post! And yeah, I will do my best to bring that 'baby got back' feeling, isekai style, next time! My rhyming might be off, but my (im)pure intentions will be there! As for Kai, yeah, he was pretty much an otaku, so people are not exactly surprised if he (Sebastian, actually) says weird stuff. -

Well, you'll be the judge of that piece (of ass, I couldn't help it, lol) the next time. SMilo, ha? I see what you did there... -
Chapter Five – Songs About Majestic Things Milo hooked his arm over his shoulders as soon as they were out of the inn. There was an unnerving familiarity in how the commoner handled him. Sebastian was not used to being treated that way and wished for Milo to be less familiar with him. Nonetheless, he knew this much; different rules governed this strange world, and until he understood them completely, he had to allow such unpleasant things. Not that feeling Milo’s warm body so close was

A certain lack of readers' reactions and comments might have to do with a lot of external things. I think we can all agree that the overall behavior of someone reading works published online has transformed over the years. It is something I'm trying to wrap my head around, too. Since I publish my works in many places, and not just here, I can say that I am aware of such changes, albeit I cannot say what causes them exactly. But what I can say is that I have more comments and reactions here on hundreds of views than on sites where I have thousands. That means that GA truly does something good! For instance, if someone reads most of the time on their phone, on their way to work - I think someone even mentioned this type of situation above - it's unlikely that they will start typing a comment. And, again, as someone else noticed, if they're not logged in, they won't even be able to leave a reaction. Another thing I feel it's happening is a certain change in how people interact with the online environment. There are so many things competing for someone's attention. I'm not, thankfully, addicted to my phone, and I have no social media. But I noticed other people who have their feed constantly bombarded. They look at it, maybe laugh at that, or read a few sentences here and there, but they move on. And they don't even press a like or the equivalent of that, depending on the app! The notion of feed is quite adequate. They just get what comes on the conveyor belt, and they end up not reacting at all. I know that it's a bit digression what I'm doing here, and I apologize. Here, on GA, someone who comes and reads engages in something definitely more profound than watching a feed on which funny videos and news roll one after another. However, that doesn't exclude the possibility of their behavior having been modified by this new type of online environment. Another thing I want to mention is that maybe readers would like to feel rewarded for their interactions. There's nothing wrong with badges and the kind. New reading apps have them in place. I don't know if that motivates readers more to leave reactions and comments, but it is a thing. Some people have mentioned that it may cause disingenuous effects. I'm not saying that it's not true. I wouldn't think of that, though, as it would feel like I would suspect readers of being selfish all the time. But I noticed that people that might feel shy to interact, when they see that there are already some comments and reactions in place, they start to follow, too. So, 'productive' readers who leave reactions and comments might have a positive effect, even if they may only say something like 'I loved it' and leave a little heart. Anyway, these are just some ideas, and I'm not sure if I did a good job at expressing them clearly. The way readers interact and what makes them tick is a pretty hot topic, that's for sure. -

Chapter Four – You Put A Spell On Me Milo wrapped his arms around him. The desire in his eyes was unmistakable. Sebastian was rightfully annoyed. His prisoners could take the initiative only if he allowed them to. It appeared as if Milo, a mere scholar, considered himself on the same level with a prince to take such liberties. “Did I tell you that you could embrace me?” he asked. Milo grinned. “No, but you kissed me already, so I don’t see how a hug could be worse.” Yes, the

Any kind of reaction is better than none whatsoever I personally enjoy seeing likes and other reactions left on my story, but naturally, the comments left by the readers - especially those that are detailed - really make the effort of writing (which exists, even if I enjoy it) feel more worth it.- 173 replies

This Body Rules/Is An Utter Disappointment
Laura S. Fox commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in This Body Rules/Is An Utter Disappointment
He-he, Kai needs to face the challenges as they come to him! As for Milo, allow the boy to be smitten for a while. After all, his best friend is the head in the clouds type of guy, so, for some time, he might not really suspect that anything is afoot! -

Acting evil might prove a complicated endeavor even for an otaku like Kai... It's something that should come from the inside, lol! As for Pepin's hobby of tightening clothes, I can only tell you that he's a man with many talents, and leave it at that for now! Conrad might not be crazy about wearing anything. After role, what kind of a royal concubine would he be? In the meantime, Sebastian has a lot to learn, especially about the magic/technology in this strange world! Thank you for commenting! You always manage to put a big smile on my face! -
