Oh, Rusty... yeah, he's one hell of a character (I secretly love him more than others because he has so many shades... and I don't mean of grey, lol). Nicely noticed that he played the villain - it's one of the things he knows how to do

You're right... and you're right. Jonathan is scared of his own shadow at this point, and getting to know Rusty a little bit better - lol! - must have been quite the experience. In due time, he will learn, both to share and open more, and to be honest. As for Connor... oh, well... I won't say a thing!

The next chapter should fall on Christmas Eve, but as I was telling @FSELL earlier, I might post it a bit earlier, as that time might just get a bit too hectic!

That's so very true. Jonathan lived a certain type of life before getting to Sunny Hill, and being a poor judge of character is part of him, and something he'll have to work on. In Connor's case, he feels something's off, but he just doesn't want to give in to what his brain - and heart - tell him. Good thing Maddox is there to mess up his thoughts, lol!

That's Sebastian's battle, and we'll see how he manages to confront his archenemy. As for the Earthians, they might have some surprises up their sleeves, especially a certain someone... or maybe I'm just getting ahead of myself, who knows?

Chapter Thirty-Five – Behind All The Bad Things In A Story, There’s Always A Villain Sebastian ignored the pointed look Galien pinned him with as he kept saying he was fine. “I believe you have an important task to do. And no, I don’t mean visiting your lover who also happens to be my concubine in his quarters right under my nose. It’s tacky even for someone like you.” Insulting and hurting Galien’s feelings had worked before, and it had to work now. They were all running out of time.
