He-he, a knight in the nude, I love it! And yes, it's true, the cracks are showing, and Alexander will stubbornly chip at them!

Well... I won't answer that! But I'll agree on the second point with all my heart!
  4. Chapter Twenty-Two – [Memory, Early December, Sophomore Year] – Don’t Read Into It Who knew lasagna could be such a bitch to wash off a tray? Lyn scrubbed furiously at it, determined to finish the whole stack before his shift ended at ten. “Wow,” a voice called from behind him, “did that tray kill your family or something?” It was the student he shared the shift with, a guy who seemed to be sleepy most of the time. Despite his lazy way of moving, he always managed to finish his work b
  5. Danny will remain human! And he'll be the healer of the pack, accepted and loved
  6. Thank you, Chris!
  7. That's where we'll go next And there will be Jack, Vince, and Theo!
  8. You have no idea... but I did some research to get to that term! I wanted to be something that would sound out of ordinary, all because of Danny's inner struggles with accuracy, and his refusal to lie! Yeah, town supervisor Ryder... his needed qualifications include fangs, claws, and a fierce need to protect his... town! (from bureaucrats or something)
  9. I loved the tech puns! Danny truly revealed his true self, lol! I bet his ears are still red, but Ryder will make sure to lick them and make it all go away. The sequel will start next week, without a doubt!
  10. Apparently, I missed the general vibe wanting Kat to embarrass him like that! But, in Danny's good spirit and heart, I couldn't put him through that much of a humiliation...
  11. Ha-ha, I could be saucy and give no clear answer... but I wouldn't, lol. Theodore's faith is all in Jack's cards. Let's see how he can reconcile with that!
  12. Thank you! The sequel will start next week!
  13. Yeah... I mean he better keep his mouth shut about it!
  14. Yes, and that's what that story will be all about!
  15. Of course. It was meant to happen!
  16. Thank you for sticking with it! I wanted to have a bit of comic relief toward the end... and mean co-workers deserves to witness a wolf changing shape once in a while!
  17. Epilogue Danny looked around with curious eyes. Ryder could tell that his mate was interested in getting to know his new home but, as his gentle disposition directed, he didn’t dare touch anything. He wrapped his hands around Danny’s shoulders and pushed him forward. “This is where you will live from now on. We don’t live like they do in the city, and we don’t have television, but I hope you will not miss much of your life from before.” Danny snickered. “Do you think I’ll miss hea
  18. Yes he was, and he knows it. He'll not leave things like this.
  19. Brad is not malicious, yes, thank you. I know - and this will seem 'small' compared to other moments that will come - that readers will feel tempted to hate him. And it's all understandable. And I won't say a thing to change anyone's mind, because that's the beauty of putting a story out in the world. People will interpret it through their own eyes and minds. But I still want to acknowledge when someone notices things that I know I intended in the writing of the story. Which is why I believe the scene hits harder through Brad's carelessness. If he had been just vicious and mean, Lyn wouldn't have suffered as he did. And it wasn't a good kiss. Reality gave Lyn a harsh check. There are kisses and kisses, right? We'll see The three elements will continue to gravitate around each other. While this is a romantic stories, and you know my reputation of loving HEA's, I still hope I will be able to surprise you with the denouement
  20. He-he... I will closely observe how the readers' opinions change!
  21. I'm so glad readers understood right away what happened there... Brad did reduce Lyn to a side show. Lyn's emotional upheaval happens at the drop of a dime since he's wound so tightly. As for his reaction to Alexander, yes, it was in the moment, and yes, he was in defensive mode, having lost control and all. He does feel guilty, and he knows he did wrong. While memory chapters don't usually connect to each other (like the natural succession in a story) - this time, there will be an exception. There will be a continuation to this... and I can only hope it will be revealing! I will disappoint you this time... There will be no memory chapters for the 8 years apart.
  22. ...and that's the issue with Lyn, isn't it? He always tries so hard, yet he fails. I'll call it a modern tragedy, with your allowance.
  23. Ah... but there's more to Lyn than that list...
