Trick (as well as Brad and Zoe) did notice Cody's change of behavior in high school, but they just thought it was strange, they didn't know what caused it. The damage was already done by then, so Trick certainly wasn't going to go up to Cody and ask "hey, why are you not teasing me anymore?". The new school was better for Trick, he wasn't bullied and he even had a relationship there, as you'll discover later.

I think Trick's parents have full trust in their son, and they realized that they boys feel strongly about each other and that Cody was fully aware of what he did. Besides, the 'family breakfast' wasn't just a sign of hospitality, but also a way to talk to Cody and learn more about him. Thanks so much for your comment and I hope you continue to enjoy the story!

I've finally finished both of your My Life Started... stories, I love them so much. I really like all characters, especially Greyson. Will we ever get an explanation of why exactly is he blind (I know it was mentioned he was born that way), and is there a chance of some surgery ever being done to restore his sight? Thank you for the great stories! -
Aww I feel bad for Kaleb, everyone is making fun of him. They need to give him a break, plus I hope he and Davis make up and have a normal relationship, whatever that is for them (friends/boyfriends?). Also, I hope you have some nasty plans for Rudolph, preferably including prison and very violent inmates.

Nice chapter, as usual! The only complaint I have is that this gave us a pretty big spoiler for the Wesley and Seamus story, but I guess that's a risk you're willing to take since the 2 stories are so connected. But since you said you'd be working on W&S now, it's all forgiven

I just binge-read this story in two days, I can't tell you how much I liked it! They way you made absolutely all characters interesting and likeable is amazing, I can't even pick my favorite - Ryder, Tyler, Shawn, Callen, Jaxson, Wilder... they are all so cute and you just can't help but root for them all!

I think it's obvious what's happening. The new 'boyfriend' is an illegal immigrant and Kay married him so he wouldn't get deported. They knew they were being observed by an immigration officer at the bar, so they had to kiss to convince him that the marriage is real. -
