OMG! Can someone please pass me a Kleenex? Ronyx is a master story teller and has proven that once again with this example of his work. This is a truly touching and inspiring story. I hope a copy finds its way to the desks of bosses everywhere.

This story is marked "complete" but I sure hope that is not the case. There are so many loose ends I can't begin to count. If the story is complete I hope there is a sequel. A lot of time went into building the characters and to leave them hanging like this is cruel and unfair to them.

I am using the latest version of Chrome. I've also done some more checking. I had thought maybe the problem was that I was trying to set things up on my Android tablet so I switched to my desktop. When I signed into my account, and went to the stories tab, the only button selected (highlighted) was the sorting button. None of my previously selected choices under genre were selected and while I could select them again, when I clicked on category, again everything is greyed out. I also found that when I signed out and then back in, again nothing was saved. I went back to the tablet and had the same result, nothing saved. Also as an FYI, I have made sure I did NOT click on the reset button (the minus sign.)

When I click the categories button everything under that is greyed out including the select option and all of the options under it.

The all box is NOT checked.

Selecting genres seemed to work, however nothing I clicked under categories seemed to work. Nothing got highlighted nor did a check mark appear beside it as shown in your example. Oh well, I can't win them all.

Thanks. I think I've tried your first suggestion before but it didn't seem to work, might have been a glitch on my end. I'll go back and try that again. ☺️

The changes to the story archive look good. I think they will be useful going forward. If I could, I'd like to suggest a couple of additions that, at least for me, might be useful: first, I'd love to see an "obvious" option to unfollow a story. Sometimes I find that an author takes a story in a direction that quickly makes me lose interest. Secondly, I'd really love to see an option to exclude certain categories, i.e. poetry, anything involving aliens, wizards or weirwolves, etc. Personally, I'd also welcome the ability to hide all content from certain authors. I'm a retired newspaper editor and while I can read past an occasional error in grammar, spelling or sentence structure, there are some authors that don't have a clue. In a couple cases, I've even offered to help them and was told to go take a flying leap off the nearest tall building. I know nothing about what goes on under the hood to make this site operate so maybe my ideas are not possible. I just wanted to throw them out there for consideration. Thanks.

I'm surprised it has taken so long for the"hero" of this story to be in a car wreck that left him unconscious for an extended period and with numerous broken bones. The author usually works that into his stories much sooner. And it was no surprise that it happened during a spur of the moment trip that no one back home even knew about. So, so predictable. The names are changed but so much of the story is just a repeat of details from previous stories.

While this story idea is interesting, the author's writing style makes it impossible for me to stick with it. This author desperately needs an editor to help with his grammar, sentence structure, etc. Trying to read this when every paragraph is just one long, run-on sentence is maddening.

Is anyone in this extended family doing anything to try to help Kasey improve his speaking ability? Trying to READ his gibberish was kind of cute in the beginning but has become as tiresome as Rudolph's incessant meddling.
