    Chapter 9

Growing up my dad always owned Chevy and only Chevy. He finally jumped ship after he retired and the last 3 cars he owed were all Mercury's (owned by Ford). You never know. I'm not loyal to any brand. As long as it runs and/or I can afford the payments. Lol.

I told you Chris's math skills were sketchy.

Yes... that damn car that everyone though was a red herring that turned out to be exactly what everyone theorized in the first place. Bane of my existence in that's story!

    Chapter 1

Gnomie and I get accused of being the same person, but I swear... you and I were brought up in the same family in parallel universes. Lol. It's uncanny how similar so many of experiences have been. I'll be the first one to admit- this is a tough topic to deal with. It's why many workplaces and online forums prohibit the subject as a matter for discussion (along with politics in many cases) I agree with you that Catholicism is very black and white. I honestly think if my husband was practicing in a nondenominational church we wouldn't have half the arguments we've had. You've been with me from the very first chapter of Tattoo and I appreciate every comment and reaction along the way! ❤️ It was Tuesday. Thanks!
  12. @astone2292 gives us a solid story with two down to earth guys. The MC is an ordinary schlep just looking to come home and spend a little time with his boo. We get a glimpse of how they pursued their quarry and in the end solidified the foundation of their relationship. I think this one was my favorite.

    Chapter 1

Thanks Al. Every should be entitled to their beliefs. I find it unfortunate that, as someone who doesn't believe in god, I'm often looked down on because of it and judged as "lacking" by the very people who are taught "judge not least ye be judged". The hypocrisy is what aggravates me the most.

Thanks Chris. This story idea had been sitting in a folder for 4 or 5 years. The anthology was the perfect time to dust it off.

Thanks. I hope it is a conversation starter. It needs to be, but in a good, constructive way.

    Chapter 1

I think a lot of people feel the same turbulence Evan went thru. I'm in the minority and I know it's controversial but to me all religion boils down to one faction forcing their beliefs onto the most vulnerable group-kids. Let's face it, most people who associate with a religion do so because they grew up with it. It's difficult to shed that as an adult. For a kid like Jordan to come along and spell it out, that's huge. I think Evan will be fine.

Thanks for reading! I'm glad I can provoke thought on different views. It's always fun stirring the pot!

    Chapter 1

Thanks Aaron. This one came about because of an ongoing... debate? Discussion?... ah fuck it... argument. Ongoing argument my husband and I have over religion. We both were raised Catholic. Met in Catholic high school. Married in a Catholic church. I'd have to say for the majority of our (as of this week) 31 years of marriage we were lackadaisical. We didn't always go to church. More so when we had kids, but it was never a big deal if we skipped. I've never had a strong belief. Even when I was a kid. My husband is convinced he had a divine experience when he was in an car accident and bounced off a dump truck. He's convinced he should have died. I'm convinced it was his shitty driving and he got lucky. The car was drivable, he just scraped the hell out of the side. But anyway, over the past 10 years my belief has firmly become cemented on the side of there is no god(lots of reasons for this- pm me if you want to discuss). His is the opposite and he has actually become more devout than he has ever been. It's created some tension at times. During one of our arguments he kept challenging me to give him reasons to back up my theories. After all, he had the Bible. LOL. So, much of Jordan's research is my own. And to me it makes sense. Maybe not to others, and that's okay. Everyone is entitled to believe what they want.

    Chapter 1

“In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.” There was a chorus of people replying “amen” as the service concluded. The next several hours were a blur of condolences. It was a relief to be alone finally. Evan stepped onto the small balcony and leaned on the railing, breathing deeply, savoring the quietness of the night around him. He held his head in his hands and exhaled slowly. If anyone had told him a year ago that he would be where he was now, he would h

    Chapter 9

An antidote would only be feasible if it were something like a venom or specific serum that was responsible for the physical changes. Because the scientists who messed with the pups changed the process as part of their trial and error, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. It would be nice though.
