I can relate. My first dog was Beagle/Bassett/Shepherd. Beagle head on a Shepherd body with Bassett legs.

I'm honestly surprised that the Taco Bell in this town isn't near the bar area. It's where they all flock after last call.

First just let me confess, I love shifter/paranormal stories. I agree that many of them are so far out there and either sensationalized like Twilight or fall under the horror genre which I'm not a fan of. There has to be a good storyline for me to get drawn in so it makes sense to me to write like that.

A huge part if why I completely (and I mean I hit delete and started from scratch) rewrote the last several chapters of Shadow Effect was because my rough draft portrayed the twins as more animal and less person. It didn't feel right. So yes, I had very limited time to bring out their characters. You did have an advantage of not having to wait between chapters a day it does make a difference in how a story unfolds for a reader.

Holy hell. I woke up to 162 notifications. Okay... I thought @chris191070 is among the land of the living and sober enough to tap a reaction button. Then I looked and the comments had gone from 148 to 189! WTF Chris? Did you have to stir up the whole damn Korner? I'm going to breakfast. I'll deal with all y'all when I get back.

This is a much faster paced story so things will move along. Except for Caleb and Vann. Too much other stuff has to happen first. Lol. Lots of good recipes out there.
