When Aaron and I were tossing ideas around and we hit on the whole game show theme, I knew it was the perfect format to tie up a couple of loose-Kage ends. For this one I wanted Kage and one of Aaron's characters. The leprechaun was for comedic relief. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

White. Brightness. Blinding light. Upbeat music blasted Kage’s ears. From somewhere overhead, a voice rang out, “From River Styx Studios, it’s the Underworld’s game: Darts! Of! Deeessttiinnyyyy! Ladies and Gentlemen, here are the stars of our show, Charon and Ceresa!” Kage’s gaze darted about the studio he found himself in. His brows drew together, wrinkling his forehead as two beings crossed the wide, open stage, arm in arm. The elderly woman wore a long, flowing black dress. H

There is an iguana that hangs around the community I work in. He's probably stiff as a board right about now. Our floors aren't insulated, so even with socks, my feet are cold They're thick slipper socks too. I'm bummed because I got a pedicure yesterday, and now I have to cover up the sparkly toes. I just finished all my wrapping. Now I'm going to chill out (literally) for a bit until hubs wakes up. We have a few last-minute things to do, mostly getting food for the next couple of days. I'll shop for our big dinner on Tuesday. I already have two rib roasts in the freezer, I just need all the stuff to go with it. My son texted me early this morning. They were in Georgia. They should be somewhere in Florida by now, heading to my daughter-in-laws parents in South Florida. They have more iguanas down there than we do. Have a good Christmas Eve and stay safe and warm!

First love can be sooooo bittersweet!

I'm sorry I hit a tough subject for you. My biggest pet peeve with smokers is their uncontrollable urge to light up as soon as they step outside the door of a public place like a restaurant, forcing everyone else to walk through a cloud as they enter or exit. For those of us with asthmatic family members it can mean a trip to the ER if there's a bad reaction. Been there. It sucks. Would it really hurt to refrain from lighting up until you're 20 or 30 feet away from the door? Geesh. Other than that, if someone wants to smoke, that's their business. I've been known to light one up on a rare occasion. Forgive me?

Chill dude. You people? Use your big boy words. It's bitch. And I wear the title proudly. I know damn well Aaron won't stop smoking because of me. One sentence does not constitute nagging. Don't get your bike chain in a twist. 😘

It's good to hear from you molly! I'm glad you're feeling better. I'm finally settling down again after a few hectic months. I'm happy hurricane season is over. This one was a doozy. @rickproehl I'm relieved you're okay after the accident. I hope the weeks pass quickly for you leading up to your surgery. It's been a long road to get there. @Fae Briona stay warm, and everyone else too. The cold air is hitting us here too. Saturday's high will be lucky to reach 50. Lows will be in the 30s. I haven't had a cold Xmas since we went up north 10 years ago. It figures we're not celebrating until mid-week next week when my son and daughter-in-law will be here. I can't wait.
