It was an arbitrary choice. I've never been there.

You can run but you can't hide.

Thank you! Tattoo will always be special to me. You never know when a character will make an appearance. Just sayin.

Chapter 19: Spilled Secrets
kbois commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 19: Spilled Secrets
Why is the last line reminiscent og the Sixth Sense "I see dead people." Almost, and I use the word lightly, Almost, makes me feel sorry for Shaw. -
There's a picture of Caleb ready to go when the final story is posted. Don't you worry. It's been Gnomie-approved.
-
Hunter was the hardest one to find a picture I liked. He has auburn/dark red hair and narrowing it down meant scrolling thru dozens of pictures of Carrot Top *shudders*. I had totally different picture of Sebastian but it blurred too much when I was editing it. It was fun picking then out.

You're very welcome! The Korner Krew occupies korners all over the place so there's plenty of room. Feel free to recruit more members from down under.
-
@weinerdog is in charge of membership for the Krew. Don't let him overcharge you. He's sneaky that way.
-
Congratulations! And thanks for recommending! Bask in the gratitude of the Krew. I'm off to post the cover pic......
-
Thanks! I appreciate it. So doesn't the rest of the Krew. They're jonesing to see what Sebastian and his Sentinels look like. One more recommendation and I'll post the cover photo for Spirit Wolves.

Chapter 18: Sentimental Supper
kbois commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 18: Sentimental Supper
Such a sweet chapter. I'm a sucker for the underdog finding a home. Now to poke some fun... Lei stood at the helm of his large frill, flipping burgers and turning hot dogs like a professional Is this thing you call frill part of a certain camping set that includes a tent capable of things a tent shouldn't be capable of? 🤣🤣 -
Chapter 17: Feelings Found

You made Vinnie utter the "L" word. I would've thrown in a cliffie to boot. Lol. -
Chapter 16: Literary Lacerations
kbois commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 16: Literary Lacerations
Ahhh... so we get a glimpse of the man behind the evil shadows. Vinnie has some further training with Elaine, I'm sure. -
But you're still going to recommend right? As @Danilo Syrtiswould do:

Another one bites the dust.

Chapter 15: Wizardly Waltz
kbois commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 15: Wizardly Waltz
I want to be a mage! Although I'd have to have at least 3 affinities. Cuz I wanna be badass that way. This chapter was even better than I remembered it. -
In Spirit Wolves, Elijah was only a part of their world for a brief period of time. Not enough to foster the sort of friendship that warrants a call to them in this situation. In his mind, he is handling things the best way he knows how. Yes, this story is a continuation of Spirit Wolves but it's also Elijah's story. I honestly don't control what he told me to write. I'm sure the Sentinels would've been there for Elijah in a heartbeat.

I just clarified that I'm above average. 🤭
-
Average height for a female in the US is 5'4". I'm above average.
-
I'm not short either. 5'6" is average for a girl. Although I have gotten to the age where I'll probably start losing a few millimeters every year.
-
So much better than one of those blow-up swords they sell at carnivals. I agree with everything @Carlos Hazday said. (Weird, huh?) Also... you're not short. Everyone else is tall. Gotta go edit now. Okloveyoubaiiiiii!!
-
Dave has GOT to drop that disgusting cigarette habit. Looking forward to the dance!
-
I'm on the Curtis bandwagon with this one. He's one asshole who wouldn't hesitate to eat his own young.

You know damn well you were going to hear from me. Let's take this this one at a time. Love. The basest of all emotions in my opinion. We get pushed out into this world seeking ifrom our first breath. It's a continously changing, often fleeting feeling. Success. Oh she most certainly is a conniving bitch. Always whispering something different. Peace of mind. Fleeting on the best of days. Probably the most fragile of the bunch. He loves to play hide and seek. Individuality. Oh this one has arguably been my nemesis. One wears so many hats during their lifetime. Child. Sibling. Friend. Student. Neighbor. Niece/nephew. Boyfriend/girlfriend. Husband/wife. Parent.... the list goes on and on. How is one ever supposed to figure out who they are? Impossible. Regret. Every. Single. Day. It's the biggest pitfall of being given choices in life. How does one deal with the what ifs? Fear. Always lurking. Never fully banished. Time. Ah yes. This is a tricky one. Twenty some-odd years separate you and I so our perception of this old man is probably on opposite ends of the spectrum. In all likelihood I have less days ahead of me than you. I hear its ticking more loudly. Everyone of us is not good enough. We're broken. We're constantly seeking approval. We crave acceptance like any other addictive substance. We fail. We let ourselves get pushed around. Are your concerns surrounding life more or less important than anyone else's? Yes. No. It all comes down to perception. I've watched you over the past few months. We chat back and forth. Your humor is your shield. I know this because I am the same way. In many ways I still feel the pang of insecurity about myself with the same intensity as when I was in my teens and twenties. As the years grow plentiful under my belt they're still there, but the focus has shifted. Validation. The only one you need to seek Validation from is yourself. You do what is right for you. You want to see what strength looks like? Look in the mirror. Your words are your strongest weapon. Noah is there to hand you pen and paper (or boot up your laptop). It doesn't matter what name you choose. You are you. Make yourself heard. Know that you will always be changing. Sometimes it's a good thing. Sometimes not. Knowing you're in a good place and recognizing the effort it takes to get there is half the battle. Finding the energy to get to that better place is the other half. My chat is always open. 😘❤
