I miss you being one of the first out of the gate. I clear my notifications. Start doing some writing. 30 minutes later... 56 new notifications. 52 are yours....lol. This is one of my favorite chapters.

I went out to lunch with a friend. Two and a half hours later... 69 notifications. Lol You're absolutely right. Elijah has to have a conversation about Kage with Ashton before they can even think about moving forward. The Laramees will open their arms to anyone who had a hand in bringing their boys home. Caleb will have plenty of hurdles to get over. He has a really long road ahead of him to redemption.

Hope is the perfect word for the theme of this chapter. You nailed it perfectly. Book 3 will get there. I just have to push a few things out of the way first.

I love pulling on heartstrings. As a mom, I can't even imagine the anguish of having a child go missing, let alone her only two. It was fitting that Ashton's first message was for his parents. In my mind, there was no other choice. The Laramees could care less what sex their children's mates are. They are the poster parents for unconditional acceptance. Ashton is the more extroverted. Austin was quieter. They'll balance out Elijah and Tyler. The twins have a lot of recovery to do, but I think they'll be okay.

Try being me. Spirit Wolves got started about four years ago and sat stagnant for at least two before I dusted it off. This story consumed nearly every waking moment for four months. These guys were so insistent to have their say. I tried to get the third installment started, but even in editing this gang had to be the center of attention. (Like some other people we know) But, yes. There will be a third story. Unfortunately you'll have to wait a while. It's a privilege to know that so many of you are invested in this series. 😘
