They've been gone eight years. That's a really long time to be separated from a pack. Add to that the unknown of what they've had to endure and Elijah and Tyler are setting off into a potential shit storm. Kage's mojo better help.

I like your optimism that they will find the twins alive. If they do, who knows what shape they'll be in? Kage's ability to "guide" everyone will be explained. But in a way none of you will ever guess and it will be totally out of the blue and unexpected. You won't know what hit you. I haven't even told @Mrsgnomie my genius plan. I'm sure Sebastian’s form of justice will fit the crime.

Tyler grabbed his guitar and headed over to the lodge. He and Elijah spent the better part of the past week helping where they could. Tonight was a celebration for Ray’s birthday. He was turning fifteen. His parents arrived the day after him and gently broke the news of his grandfather’s death. Understandably he was upset, but overall it hadn’t been totally unexpected. He had been well over six hundred. “Hey! ‘Bout damn time you showed up!” Ben teased as he swung the front door open.

I have a weekly phone meeting with my boss. I should be ready to go when it's over. Close to the normal time between 830-900 EST.

If I shove it in the back of my fridge and hide it from my son... yes, hubs and I each get 3 pieces. Once the kid spies it.... all bets are off! Lol.

Turkey pot is my once-a-year treat. I usually make two. I throw in whatever leftovers there are and douse it with a couple of gallons of gravy, lol. One lasts a few days and the second I cut up and freeze the individual servings to bring to work for lunch. Once it's gone.... that's it for another year! I'm lucky, we have two refrigerators with decent sized freezers at work that I can keep stuff in. Unless the HOA is having an event I can pack enough stuff for two or three weeks worth of lunches.

I have a chest freezer a friend gave me four years ago. She had it for ten. It's still going strong. It replaced a smaller one we had for about 12 years which still ran fine. It got donated. Last year I got an 18lb (or so) turkey for three of us. The year before I got a small 10 pounder and when I went to make turkey pot pie, there was no turkey left. There's no way I'm missing out on that. I look forward to it every year. This year won't be any different! Have a good day everyone!

How the hell did you not have to deal with an exploding diaper of shit? Seriously.... straight up the back into the hair, out both leg holes and all over the car seat? Are your kids normal? I don't think they're normal. You might want to have House take a look. There has to be a diagnosis for that. Either that or may want to have your memory tested. You may have blocked it out. 🤣🤣

I've said it before.... I still have no idea whether or not there will be a "cure". So far it's not looking promising. But who knows? Stranger things have happened. Kage is definitely helping. But why? Elijah’s premonition? 🤷♀️

The word "genteel" has never applied to me. Lol. Even as a kid I was rough and tumble tomboy through and through. Much to my mom's consternation. Can you imagine having 5 boys, then finally having a girl only to have her balk at wearing dresses? I did like Barbies and other traditional "girl" stuff, although I was perfectly OK with hand-me-down trucks and matchbox cars lol. To this day I'm not a fan of wearing dresses. I own exactly one... black for funerals. With a cute silver jacket in case of a wedding. 🤣🤣 As far as book 3? Yeah, um, I barely have two chapters done. There's gonna be a wait. Your uncle was a smart man.

Thanks. I'm grateful to have the staff that I do. They all busted their asses these past 10 days. Both parks are looking so much better. Now it's the the waiting game for the residents to get contractors to do the necessary repair work. I should be back on track to post regularly again.
