I went to school north of Boston. Still my favorite big city. You never-ending know when I'm going to pop in there (in a literary sense). After all, crossover possibilities abound. (Lex, Ian, Cassie, Ryan, Seth)
Like I mentioned in a previous comment. Boston is now the new laptop. Whether or not it means something or nothing is for me to know, and you to find out. 😉
What you should be asking is "HOW long is she gonna keep us waiting?"
You all know I love a good blindside!
Yes, we're still on for tomorrow. After that it will a dry spell until I get back. I may need to ask @chris191070 for tips on how to get through 1000 notifications. Lol.
Did I have to make their first attempt a death? Absolutely not. Why did I? Because this is the reality for way too many kids. You said it well. Victims of trafficking are expendable. Even those who come at a high price.
Let's hope they have better luck next time.
Yes, Mags, they need a moment to breathe. To re-center and regroup. This was a low blow (even for this author), but in reality, these things happen.
Why do I have the feeling "Boston" is the new laptop? 🤔
I'm glad it worked on someone.
I spent a few hundred bucks and 24 weeks (three 8 week sessions) doing obedience training with our big dog. He can "sit" and "wait". Anything else is beyond his intelligence.
Recognizing Neall highlights the importance of speaking with the families and getting as much little details as possible. In addition to making it real, it gives Elijah and Tyler an edge in situations like this. Sebastian’s team will confirm it's Neall and make sure his family gets closure.
It was unfortunate the first pup years found didn't make it. That's all my fault. I think it's important that my readers realize not everything is going to work out. It still sucks.
They need a short little interlude to process and reset. Hopefully the Grand Canyon will do that for them.
I don't think Tyler is going to dwell on his dream. It's probably nothing.
You and the rest of the gang. I've been a little busy lately. I'm going to work on a bunch of chapters while I'm lounging on my balcony all bundled up enjoying some damn cold air fir a change. You may get inundated the moment I have internet access.
Elijah is probably one of my strongest characters mentally and emotionally. He's had a lot to deal with and I don't think he could've done it without his support system, especially Tyler. They need each other.
I'm sure at some point there will be repercussions surrounding Huntington. Kenneman too. And most likely Trevor. I think.
Now that @Mrsgnomie and @Salerion have dissected the chapter and figured everything out while I was on a work call, the rest of us can sit back and just nod our heads.
