A sweet tale of "how we met".
Join Jensen and Nolan for a wonderful recounting of all the obstacles they faced in getting to where they are today.
A classic Mrsgnomie story.
(I'm lurking. But only for a moment.)
An awesome tale of "How we met". Nolan and Jensen had their ups and downs, yet managed to get through them. Jensen had a lot of obstacles to overcome and thankfully had the patience to follow through.
Great job!
@Mikiesboy FYI Tim Hortons coffee has now become my second favorite coffee. I'll be going home with a big can of grounds. Lol. (Plus a bag that we used half of)
We're done with Vancouver today and off on our cruise. I'd love to come back here. A day and a half wasn't enough.
Hope everyone has a good week! I'll see ya when I get back!
I can't fix her misspelling "think".
Besides today is my last day with internet access until next Sunday, even then it will be limited as it's a looonnnngggg travel day (and night, red-eyes suck)
Y'all better behave or I'll make you wait an extra week AFTER I get back.
Geesh, you're like a bunch of 6th graders the second the teacher leaves the classroom.
Dealing with a family member who has a mental illness can be incredibly difficult. Making the decision to cut then out if your life is even harder.
Thank you Val for reading and commenting. Most of all thank you and the rest of the GA Anthology team for all the hard work you guys do to pull this togrther and also for giving me a platform to try out something new.
The subject matter of the story itself is a serious matter. I completely understand how difficult it could be to read. Thanks for sticking it out. I appreciate it.
Short stories are not my forte. I'm thankful for my editors with this one. @Mrsgnomie and @Carlos Hazday kept me on track even though a certain know-it-all cringes at verbose stories. He still liked it. 🤭
Totally late to this party today. That's what I get for trying to post one more chapter before I go on vacation, wrap up everything at work and sneak in editing a chapter or two for Mrs. G. Not to mention packing.
I've got a lot of down time sitting around airports tomorrow so I'll get in as many as I can.
