I love it... snappy style, quirky, attention grabbing. At first I thought - please no - not a reminiscence, but this is great. Witty writing like this is always fun... " And the brush, which did much better a job than a finger ever could. Feeling like I had scrubbed off three layers of foul skin, and received new teeth by the time I shuffled into the marble hall,

.I love this - Holy shit, if that guy backed up his ass would probably beep. This is a pleasure to read - a good pace, taut writing, amusing dialogue.

Adele is Taught a Lesson
Rigby Taylor commented on Rigby Taylor's story chapter in Adele is Taught a Lesson
That's a relief - I wondered if readers would think the warning was a bit harsh. Yes, I also love Ari and Belle - oh to have parents like that! Yes, Jarek and Zeno are cute, but I wonder if Zeno isn't a bit too clever? Thanks Wesley, Chris and Jeffrey for the comments. -
The meal over, they moved out to the starlit verandah. Belle and Ari took the deck chairs leaving the double swing-seat for the young men. ‘Lucky it’s been so dry, there’ll be no mosquitoes to annoy us.’ ‘It’s hot though.’ ‘November’s always hot, and according to the forecasts it’s going to get hotter and dryer before the monsoons arrive.’ ‘I hope they hold off till after school closes,’ Jarek said. ‘Dry heat’s fine; there’s an excellent swimming hole to cool off where we’re taki

Bindi, Irma, Belle & Ari
Rigby Taylor commented on Rigby Taylor's story chapter in Bindi, Irma, Belle & Ari
Thanks for reading my stories, JeffreyL. I'm thrilled you like them. Yes, Zeno's parents are true Greek pagans... a philosopher and his muse. -
That's a relief.

Thanks. And I'm sure you'll agree Belle is a beautiful pagan. -

I'm pleased you're pleased, Canuk. Yes, it's a case of wise parents treating their children in ways that allow them to develop fully, while maintaining an 'invisible' safety net. Every child needs a slightly different approach. Equality does not mean the same. Yes, Jarek is paralysed by his fear of offending - like too many kids who feel themselves to be different in ways that could bring them into trouble. I do have a fondness for intelligent women like Belle - she is a delightful pagan. They're aware of what they're doing and the effect on others, have fun with their sexuality and never use it as a tool or weapon. As for the bat-shit crazies - they're not that rare - just usually good at concealing it. -
Edgar, the owner of the cabin in the bush was a well-fed, cautious man a few years younger than Stephen. He lived alone in a large old house a couple of streets from his friend. His minivan started first time and sounded in excellent condition. Jarek promised to take great care of it and perform any maintenance required. They decided to pick it up on the following Sunday to have it ready to ferry the boys on Monday morning. Edgar gave Jarek a second set of keys to the cabin, a plan of drains and

Don't be nervous, my heroes never do anything reprehensible. The age of consent in Queensland is the same for males and females - 16 for all sexual activity except anal, which is 17. Zeno is a bit of a paradox - only 16, but looks and acts wise beyond his years. I've always been intrigued by the paradoxes of Zeno of ancient Elea, and I like the name, so as his parents are Greek this was my chance to call someone Zeno. I'll change chapter 2 from Stephen to 'The Principal'. Thanks for pointing out the confusion. As for his name, St Stephen was the first Christian martyr, stoned to death for rejecting old ways of thinking in favour of new. Stephen is a martyr to his wife and his female staff, and rejects traditional teaching methods [and his wife] for a more enlightened approach to life and love. Yes, it's a bit convoluted - not my usual obvious puns. Thanks for commenting, I'm pleased you find it fun - that's what it's supposed to be! All my stories are about things I find important, but were written slightly tongue in cheek.

I hope you enjoy the outdoor education chapters, it is a topic that interests me greatly and, in my opinion, handled correctly as Jarek does, is the key to sanity for many men. [I've changed the name of the chapter from Stephen to 'The Principal' Thanks for pointing out the possibility of confusion]

Not in the school, but in the natural environment of a tropical rainforest by a small group of youths in need of broadening their minds. -

‘Everything’s on track, Zeno, we’re going to visit Mr. Schwartz. Bring your stuff.’ Zeno followed the Principal down the back steps and across the yard to the gymnasium. For a change it was empty of shouting kids practising gymnastics or karate or basketball. They entered, locked the door behind them and crossed to the poky office. ‘Wait here and listen,’ Mr. Noble whispered before knocking and entering, leaving the door ajar. ‘Jarek, have you made up your mind or still thinking it o

Thanks - I think... although, like all my stories, it's things I've read about, or experienced that have happened, that I've extended and elaborated on to reinforce a point. I'm intrigued by your use of 'concoct' it's not always a compliment.

The following morning at school Zeno kept to himself, not difficult when the other kids of his year were obviously avoiding him. At lunchtime he followed George’s cryptic signals to the back of an old shed where three other satisfiers of Ms Nimffo’s lusts were nervously waiting. An amusing recount of his own carnal misadventure, had the neurotic victims laughing and agreeing that instead of seeing themselves as victims they should be proud at having been chosen, because it meant they were pleasa

My pleasure, JeffreyL I'm pleased you enjoyed it.

Now there's a challenge! I feel like withdrawing straight away.... what if the rest isn't as interesting? Help!

A potty mouth... Haven't heard that one for years. Zeno is certainly not Sebastian - he has loving intelligent parents for a start. Too confident? a bit of a spoiled brat? - no wonder the local kids don't like him.
-
Thanks Gandalf, Better a bang than a whimper I always say. I'm pleased you enjoy the names. It's surprising how few people pick up on them.

Skinny-dipping with Raylene’s friends was not Zeno’s idea of a fun night out. He’d only agreed because he hoped if he felt her up in the water and fucked her afterwards her mates would stop spreading rumours he was queer. The cars screeched to a halt at the boat ramp. Everyone piled out and headed for the beach until Bob’s girlfriend reckoned there’d be eels and leeches in the river, so she refused to go down. Then the others also chickened out, saying it was too dark, probably dangerous and

The sexual molestation of a student by a teacher in an isolated tropical Australian town, triggers abductions and murder. At a rainforest camp for adolescent youths Jarek introduces them to the joys of independence, freedom from irrational taboos, respect for nature and each other, and pride in their natural masculine instincts. A gun-toting woman; a spurned wife and a man-hating teacher, cause Jarek to flee. But life becomes even more dangerous when he’s followed by his small-town enemies, who join forces with the State President of Women's War International, a female practised in the art of ridding the world of non-compliant males.

Me too... now... Who's the clever one? Sebastian or his creator?
-
You have a soft heart, Canuk. They don't feel sorry for you! Only for themselves, crawling up to their evil god in the hope of a pat on the head and rewards in heaven. Sickening. The next story, Jarek. is quite different, and so is Sebastian when he appears - I look forward to your comments.
-
You couldn't have written a better compliment, thanks mfa607. Sebastian is in the next story too - eventually. Hope you like it as much.
-
Thanks, Wesley. Sebastian takes a role in my next story too - towards the end. See you then.
