It happened! Yes! Made me very happy to see Stefan come out to him and then them both know they love each other! Although it's all good now, the morning is near and it looks like hiding is no longer an option...
Zander using Mary Ellen to look "normal" kind of confuses me but oh well I guess it seems he's still in the closet (however I feel he may have just told Kaz + Terry due to what they did at lunch)
Terry is eventually going to do something and Stefan will probably not know what to do, I can feel it as she's getting more and more persistent with asking him to do things.
Stefan once again is doing very well at hiding in plain sight, I guess after being on the run for so long he's learnt how to mask himself so easily. Two things here - lunch boy will be a problem, as he's sure to slip up sometime soon when lunchboy is near him (as he sees him a lot) and Mrs Majorie will probably get more and more suspicious like how Ambrose was when he was with Eustace.
Back to his nomadic ways. Sad it couldn't last long with Eustace, it seemed they were really getting on well + Toby and Stefan were just on the road back to restoring their friendship.
Good to see Toby and Stefan doing well and speaking after what was an eventful night. Stefan still gets very nervous when he slips up slightly, a trait his father has implemented into him because of the awful way he treated him.
Finally, a stroke of luck for poor Stefan. Even though its not perfect he's getting money and has found a place to sleep and has no reason to be nomadic in his ways.
The dream that he describes at the end of the chapter really had me feeling sorry for him. In very bad conditions and he finds something which makes him happy, he has hope.
Both bads and goods have came from his fathers death. He's no longer getting the "parenting" he was receiving whilst living with his father, however no he's wanted by the police for something he hasn't done and there's also rumours being spread about him, so even if he goes back to the police and hands himself in he'll practically be screwed because he'll just suffer the same abuse if he's convicted - in prison and if he's "lucky" enough to not be convicted he'll just receive lots of crap off of people at school and probably have a load of encounters similar to the ones he's had with Ackerman. He is one unfortunate bugger.
Great story that definitely deserves a read. Story really does well in expressing Corey's inner thoughts and feelings. The story really has you wanting to read more with twists that have you shocked and wanting to move onto the next chapter. The story itself allows you to easily understand the point of view of the character and allows you to connect with the different characters. The wide variety of personalities compliments the story throughout. Overall it was a great read and I would advise others to read this story too.
I don't see why they are so annoyed about him seeing Clinton , same with Clinton's parents. I can understand being angry about sneaking out but you really can't blame them when you're making it hard for them to see each other.
