Just an FYI. I have the chapter done, but it's still being polished up. My kiddo ended up with appendicitis and had emergency surgery today, so it put me back a hot minute. Still might post tomorrow, but it could be later in the day.- 163 comments

Exactly. He probably never thought he was even have this moment, where Caleb was back in his life, where he got to hug him and forgive him (or consider forgiveness) and to learn there was more to his deceit (being poisoned) has to bring a little relief also. At most, it brings the deception of everything down a few notches. CALEB WOULDNT DO THAT!!! You’re right. He wouldn’t. Even tho he admitted he still had issues, we can all acknowledge he was not acting on his own behalf.
