  1. And beautiful. Don't forget beautiful.
  2. Now, now, clo... Don't be mocking something so innocent and beautiful.
  3. Happy Friday, everyone!
  4. Hi, clo Not much sun here yet, but the day should improve. Quite cold this morning, but the forecast is that last night should have seen the last of the frosts. That's good news, as my potatoes are finally starting to show shoots above the ground (saw the first one yesterday - now there are about seven). I sowed two seed trays with cabbage seeds yesterday, one with summer cabbage, and one with a winter variety. The runner bean seeds I sowed in deep pots about two weeks ago have finally started sprouting. Currently about 17 of the 55 have sprouted. And 49 of the 50 onion sets are now growing happily - hopefully the 50th was just planted a little deeper than the rest and will appear eventually. Strawberry plants have plenty of flowers, but I reckon I won't harvest any fruits until well into June. I also sowed some nasturtium and calendula seeds two days ago, and must get some of my other flower seeds sown. Good luck with the exams, and you enjoy your day!
  5. Great minds, bro. Great minds.
  6. Don't worry too much about it, bro. It happens to the best of us at times. You may have noticed that I frequently give some comment like "Flipping typos!" as a reason for me editing many of my comments on here.
  7. Probably be for the best if Steve doesn't find out, though..?
  8. Way past my bedtime. Goodnight, everyone.
  9. I'm hoping it isn't.
  10. Who's this Hank fellow? And just why does he need sanitising? Something you've not shared with us, Gary?
  11. I love the way you are able to speak on Albert's behalf...
  12. Perhaps of relevance to the above is the following message that Metalert Ireland posted on Facebook this afternoon... That hosepipe ban may happen after all...
  13. And they don't need a chair to reach those high places.
  14. Maybe remind me again if I've not shared any by Monday or Tuesday...
  15. I do. But they're not at hand just at the moment. I'll dig a few out over the next day or two.
  16. That is a beautiful photo! Here's one, not quite as sharp as that one, that I was fortunate to get in October 2015, when I was on a trek to Machu Picchu in Peru:
  17. Hello, young Albert!
  18. Hi, Page. Hope all's well with you and yours.
  19. Good afternoon, Gary. Felt really warm here at times today inside the walled garden. Especially when the clouds weren't obscuring the sun. Hope you don't get too much rain. We could almost do with some here in Ireland. But the problem is that, when it does start to rain here, it often forgets to stop, maybe for weeks or months on end. I've found several long lengths of hose pipe in the new, old place. On my shopping list for Monday, when the garden centre and hardware shops reopen, is hose connectors to join them together so that I can reach from the back of the house to the raised garden the other side of the old cottage. Of course, if we do get no rain, the County Council may put a hosepipe ban in place...
  20. Good morning, everyone! Although only about 10°C (50°F) at present, with a forecast high of around 13°C (55°F), today feels much more pleasant than the past few, probably due to the fact that it's sunnier, combined with very little wind. Hopefully you will all have a good day. I've had my second coffee, so now it's time for me to actually face the day!
  21. Their website includes this under "International Shipping"... International shipping Contact us for a shipping quote: call: 1 802 299-2240 x701 fax: 1 802 295-5296 They also stress that [We] do not handle customs or tariff logistics, which are especially important for food items. We strongly encourage you to check into your country's shipping regulations before contacting us with an order. Also I cannot see whether or not their flour is milled using millstones or roller-mills. I prefer stone-ground flour, as there are several advantages to stone-ground wheat flour. The endosperm, bran, and germ remain in their natural, original proportions and, because the stones grind slowly, the wheat germ is not exposed to the excessive temperatures that roller-mills generate. I normally buy my bread flour when I am in England visiting relatives.
  22. Me too, Albert.
  23. Crazy. I haven't seen any increases here in Ireland. Or heard of any. My biggest worry here is that I seldom see bread flour on the shelves. Seems people are bulk buying it, as there's often no flour of any description on the shelves, unless I go in very early in the morning. Fortunately I have enough to last me a few more months, that I had actually bought before the covid-19 scare.
  24. Howdy, young Albert!
  25. Sweet dreams, Mr B
