Regarding the Ed/Ned names... I had an Uncle Edward. I knew him as Uncle Ed. In his home town in Ireland, he was referred to as Ned.

Thanks, @Topher Lydon! I've been binge-reading the Will and Andy stories over the past couple of weeks, and will start the next book tomorrow. We still don't know if Dmytro has survived. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he is, and that he will eventually escape the compound and be able to provide essential intel. I can't help wondering if Will's 25-year old son, Edward, will enter the story at some stage. Hopefully, if he does, he will prove to be as honorable a man as his father And when is Brody going to make his appearance!? 😅

Not sure why the CIA are involving themselves in Canadian politics, but the fact that Peter has just been kidnapped isn't going to go down well with either Will or Andrew. Hopefully the photo Marc took of the van will provide some clues.

I have been binge reading this piece of art and haven't commented until now. Indeed, this is the first chapter where I have actually read the comments. I'd just like to say this, and realise that it may have already been said by others in the comments to some of the earlier chapters, that what has really impressed me has been the sheer poetry that has been interspersed in the prose. Things like this section of the current chapter... This is the first story the author, @Nuno R.F.C. Rendeiro, has shared here on Gay Authors. I can't wait to see what other stories he has to offer us.

Have just basically binge read the whole 3 books of Nemesis. Well done, @Thorn Wilde! Well written, and lots of interesting and believable characters. I'm going to have to read the Hubris series now to find out more of the backstories of some of the characters. I have one criticism to make which is that I feel that, having read this this epilogue, it spoiled the uncertainty as to the outcome of the following two books in the series.

Along the lines of what I was wondering. Although, considering Jacy has only just become aware of his own gifts, I suspect it would more likely be Fletcher. As far as I can remember Killian was nineteen when we last met him and firmly in love with Micah. Jacy is sixteen in this story. I don't see what you're hinting at as a possibility. Now Jacy and Thad? Possibly...

We don't know that Jake was actually fucking anyone else. All we do know is that Kaiden saw him kissing someone else. And then he wouldn't let Jake even explain. I think it's important to remember we are only reading this story from Kaiden's point of view. -

Homosexuality was also considered a mental illness (indeed, I think it wasn't until the 1990's that the World Health Organisation decided it wasn't). I have a memory of watching a TV programme in the UK some time back in the 1960's or 70's about gay men being locked in mental institutions and undergoing electric shock aversion therapy to try to cure them of their "homosexual tendencies". Another form of "treatment" was chemical castration (Google "Alan Turing" if you've not heard about him).
