  1. You too, Gary!
  2. What does? The spicy pepper?
  3. That's not an uncommon side-effect of coronavirus, I understand. But it's apparently not a permanent thing. My niece, her husband, and two of their four children were infected earlier this year and lost their sense of smell for a while. For a while, they had to ask the oldest (10 year old) child to sniff the baby's nappy (diaper) to see if it needed changing.
  4. Good news, Val. ❤️ I hope the improvement continues.
  5. I had a cheese, cucumber, tomato, and lettuce double-decker sandwich before a Zoom meeting earlier this evening (and actually ate it as I was video chatting one of my sisters on WhatsApp). It's 11:00pm now, so won't have an actual dinner tonight. But I'm planning on sardines on toast for supper.
  6. ... gotta love 'em Indeed!
  7. Boy I not touching that line at all It was the coming of their own free will bit that made me smile...
  8. Well I certainly hope you're leaving them more than a quarter under the pillow ... I've told you what she's doing with them. Hmmm... I think she mentioned something on a status update the other day about painting a chest of drawers...
  9. Chest? You mean she's using them to pad her bra?
  10. And you, Gary! But you could have chosen someone wearing the Irish rugby jersey for the day that's in it. So I'll give you one of the current Irish captain, Jonathan ("Johnny") Sexton, in full flight. (Notice he's even wearing a green gum shield?)
  11. Thanks, Gary! ❤️
  12. Thanks, Albert! ❤️
  13. There'll be no Zoom session, thank you very much! But I shall be having separate WhatsApp video chats with each of them this evening. We're all busy chatting away in a WhatsApp siblings group today, as well. Number 4 - slap bang in the middle! From oldest to youngest, it's Maureen, Michael, Edward, myself, Barbara, Margaret, and Elizabeth. There's also a half-brother, Christopher; a son dad had with his second wife after my parents separated. He's on the far right of this photo which taken at dad's grave back in 2013, also on St Patrick's day. Dad's buried in the same cemetery as mam. From left to right, both the men and the women, are arranged in descending age order in that photo. And the inscription on the grave is incorrect. Dad was actually 68 years old when he died.
  14. Today would have been my mother's 99th birthday. ❤️ Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, I can't travel to England this year to celebrate her life with my six siblings, the same as I have done every year since her death in 2004. 💔 Here's a photo of the seven of us taken after a celebratory meal after meeting at her graveside on this day back in 2015. Hopefully we'll all be able to meet next year for her 100th.
  15. Happy St. Patrick's day, everyone!
  16. Greetings, young Albert!
  17. Greetings, young Albert!
  18. Seems like my prayers to the Great Cod In The Sea worked, and you got Ireland's rain. Been a very pleasant day here. Basically spring-like.
  19. And you, bro!
  20. See! And you all thought I was joking!
  21. Sure it's not a case of fools never differing?
  22. Oh! I see you did hear! (Eventually)
  23. No. Clo stole them. Didn't you hear?
