    Well, I managed to get a few of the more mature of the hawthorn cut out of the hedge today. I'm now at, or just past midway. And I don't think there's anything that's going to be as difficult as what I have already removed... I'm not sure if I'll get much done tomorrow. I have a doctor's appointment late morning, and am meeting a friend for socially distanced coffee, snack, and chat in a town about 20 miles from each of us at 2pm. If I get back early enough, I just might get a wee bit more done...

    Thanks for the offer of help, bro. But it's always fun watching the two of them squabble. And it's not as though my life is that lonely that I need to start adopting imaginary friends, anyway.

    Thanks for the comment, Geron When I read seventeen degrees I thought "Wow, that's warm!" As I read on, I realised you must have meant degrees Fahrenheit. I'll do my best for a spring haiku - if spring ever does arrive.

    Fortunately we've had no snow. We're getting the same Scandinavian effect, but not quite as cold as you are, clo. Currently 1°C, but feeling more like -6°C in a fairly strong north-easterly breeze. I hear that parts of central Europe (including the south-east of England are being affected by Storm Darcy, and having it even worse... (If this weather is coming from Scandinavia, I hope @Timothy M. is keeping well wrapped up...
