I ever do a vampire, and it will be something you don't want to meet. Ever.

Thanks. I've seen all kinds of different versions, and I've never seen it done quite like this. I'm sure some think it's not actually a "werewolf" if you don't go half-beast, or whatever. But, nah. That's not my gig. You won't find that here.

Thanks, tim. I know they don't have to rhyme, it's just hard for me to DO it. I need a structure of some sort, so I focused on syllable count and went from there. Weird for me. But, I do like it.

Thanks. Not too deep. But, hey, neither is Lust. 🙂

Hey, Onim. Thanks for reading, rating and commenting. 🙂 I appreciate the great encouragement. Hehehe. Oh, just wait. There's so much more coming for all of these characters. Definitely!

I see you there. I don't pretend this is more, and that gives me strength. You step near me. Your eyes, question, but I'm sure. How this ends I know. This isn't love. It doesn't mean that it's wrong. Touch begets goosebumps. You sigh, I smile. I don't pretend this is more. Tonight, we shall lust.

Oh yeah, you speak Canadian. It was a beauty of a quesadilla!

No. I had a killer quesadilla today though!

Going for a nice walk with the husband. Back later. I hope you're all having a great start to the weekend. 🙂

We'll see what the uncles get up to. Maybe nothing - maybe all of this is just hot air. The money is a huge help. And yes ... let's watch what happens between Wren and Caleb. 🙂 Thanks for reading and commenting, Parker!

Yeah. I am living vicariously through Wren because of that danger. There's no way I would subject my husband to rural Kentucky. If I were single and prepared to be alone then I'd go back. I miss it that much. But, I would not put another person through it who has no way of knowing exactly what he's getting into. The uncles are, right now, blustery talk. We'll have to see what more they're capable of. Look at my favorite genres under my profile. It will tell you what's at least possible between Caleb and Wren. 🙂

He does, doesn’t he? Why would the son of their absent brother vex them so? And in a small community, things happen that may not in other places - like scamming the bank! Caleb is clueless when it comes to his own sexuality. It was something he has just never considered. Though Wren may force some self-reflection. Thanks for reading and commenting. 🏳️🌈

😊 Yup. But there’s still quite a bit for Caleb to work through. He has zero self-awareness at this point. Thanks for reading/commenting!

I consider myself like a random, excited guy on the street who just found the best tacos, and is just trying to point people in the right direction. I didn't make the tacos, but I can tell others that they should try them. FYI - Yes, I really do this. Good tacos deserve attention. Shit. Now I want tacos.

Thanks for reading and commenting. 🙂 Wren is starting to believe. He's starting to hope. He never belonged in San Diego, and the longer he's home, the more he realizes how much he has missed and needed both the place and his connections. The uncles are very shortsighted. It's how they've done business for two decades, and it's how they plan to continue. At twenty-two, Caleb is RIGHT where I was when I was nineteen years old. I can't explain the intensity of the need to conform, and the desire to be "normal". How he feels for Wren will be made apparent as time goes on, but you nailed it ... the power of denial is very strong. It'll take time, patience, and a willingness to trust. So far, Wren hasn't really proven himself on the patience front. We'll have to see how things go. Thanks, again. 🙂

He and Caleb have started off well. They've got a lot of history - growing up together. And now that Wren knows he can trust Caleb with his secret, that's one more hurdle out of the way for Wren. Those uncles are definitely trouble. How much remains to be seen, but, yes. Trouble.

Hehehe. I'm glad you're enjoying it. The porn is fun, and the mystery is about to turn into suspense.

Yes, indeed. I agree - Sometimes things fall right into our path. It can take courage, but the payoff could be huge. Thanks for reading/commenting, tim. 😊

Caleb was just as shocked as Wren. Wren stared, unseeing, as he sat in the chair. "I… I don't..." Wren wet his lips and blinked, focusing on Rachel. "There has to be a mistake. Why would he give it to me, mom?" She pulled up a chair and sat, taking his hand. "Well, because he knew exactly what kind of men his sons are," she smiled, "and what kind of man you are." The way Wren looked back at her made Caleb think that he still didn't quite believe it. Rachel patted Wren's hand. Caleb f
