  1. That's a very good suggestion, and sort of the minimum. I mean ... come on. People are already stressed. Why not communicate changes to protocol so you can prepare - even if it's just mentally. @mollyhousemouse, I'd absolutely suggest this to these people, in writing.
  2. Of course you'd take it that way. ๐Ÿ˜›
  3. Thanks for the nice words, folks. I don't typically care much what others think of me, but regulars in this forum are the exception. So thank you. ๐Ÿ™‚
  4. Thank you, tim. ๐Ÿ™‚ Now I really gotta get busy on writing!
  5. Thank you, everybody. Iโ€™m thrilled that people liked my work enough to put me on the radar of the promotion team. Thereโ€™s more to come from me. Iโ€™m not great at touting myself, so Iโ€™ll just keep writing. Thanks again.

Thanks, Tim D. There's more coming down the line, for sure. Mikiesboy and I are working on a rather long project. We think it'll be worth the wait, so stay tuned. ๐Ÿ™‚
  7. I finally managed to sit and write some. A sweet scene, and those are always nice. ๐Ÿ™‚ I think we're over 1/2 done with chapter 13 now.
  8. Good morning, Folks. I saw this ... and thought of a few of us.

LOL. Thanks, Danilo. I have plans to revisit the campground. Of course, I have a great many writing plans, but Camp Refuge is high on the list. ๐Ÿ™‚

I have to do weird things to get this stuff to format correctly on GA. The base document in Google Drive is fine. Copy/pasting over ... I check it, but often the extra spaces, or the deleted ones slip by me. Thanks for the catch. I actually can't find what you're mentioning. Oh well. I'm tired. It'll stay wrong for a while longer.
  12. hehehe ... I'm glad you liked it.
  13. Aieeee! I get my game in 8 hours! I have to work tomorrow, and it's going to be freaking TORTURE.
  14. Best of luck to your dad, Fae. This pandemic doesn't take a break.
  15. I like this one. I might use it!
  16. Hehe. Tux is the catโ€™s name - a black and white feline. Iโ€™m happy it could inspire you. Thank you for letting me know that, and good luck with your writing. ๐Ÿ™‚
  17. Thanks, chris. Got a lot to do before I get to it, but his story is beginning to call to me. First, Wild Maple Farm! ๐Ÿ™‚
  18. "It's too late." Joe sipped his almost-cool coffee, grimaced and sat it back on the sunny windowsill. He stared out, watching kids play across the street in their yard. "I'm a failed farmer with nothin' but a half-feral cat." He cast about, looking for Tux. Not finding him in the small room, he shrugged. "Somewhere." Bill snorted. "So, start over. You're just, what? Fifty-five? That's not too old." "Fifty-two, thank you very much." Forgetting, he took another drink of that coffee. This t
  19. There was a positive hairdresser who worked almost a week with mild symptoms. She wore a mask, and so did her clients. It has been about ten days, and none of the ~140 people exposed to her have come up positive. The masks work. Make sure to be aware of your hands, and contact with mucus membranes (eyes, nose, mouth - etc). Wash up after traveling. It'll be okay.

    The Word of Man

Thanks, Gary. Religion can be a wonderful thing, but also a very dangerous one too. I felt like I needed to call it out.
  21. Goodnight, Ashi! Sleep well tonight. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for commenting, Dave! The job, Bailey declined after this happened. Once he knew he had a reason to stay, Bailey emailed to respectfully withdraw his acceptance. I'm going to let you in on a little secret ... Back in the later chapters of the base Camp Refuge story, Orson informed Corbin that there were multiple police vets around Elias all the time. He's not overly worried about Elias thanks to this fact. Short trips away are permitted without issue. Longer trips mean others from Corbin's outfit will go camping. ๐Ÿ™‚ And ... the ring of the Reina shows a commitment too. That's the first step to more. That's a step that allows more. It also means Bailey will suddenly find work available in Idaho projects financed by the Family. Maybe he'll have to take those monthly trips out with Harlan to see to it. ๐Ÿ™‚
