The Ranch Troy and Rhett were in the middle of their break from fixing the fence when the older brunet's phone rang. He looked at the number and noticed it was Rusty. "Hey, Rus, what's…" "Sorry for cutting you off, bro, but we've got a situation." Troy instantly got to his feet, with Rhett following him. "What's up?" He grew more and more concerned when he got a growing pain in the pit of his stomach. The feeling worsened when he heard Rusty's soft sobs. "Please, don't tell me it'

Except Troy and whoever came in second. LOL

IKR, can't you just see Lev standing with the high school competitors with a bronze medal hanging almost to his stomach?

It was so awesome seeing Greg and Levie taking right to being Daddy and Papa. I also loved the swim meet memory. That was just freakin' awesome. Let's focus on the love.

The Ranch Everyone gathered outside the ranch house for lunch. Ev'lynn, Linda, Troy, and Levie worked together, bringing the food to the four picnic tables that had been put together. On the other side of that sat three tables in a line for the food to sit on. For the moment, Greg was the one watching over Tracey while everyone else pitched in. Levie paused and smiled as he pulled his phone out to take the first picture of the new Dad and son bonding time. Tears fell from his eyes when Levi

I LOVED giving Maureen a new life and bigger personality.

Me too, It's gonna be an awesome celebration.

The Family Once everyone calmed down after the news, Linda clasped her husband's hand and asked. "Lev, Greg, are you planning on adopting Tracey before you two get married?" Levie and Greg looked at one another, then Greg responded. "Umm, yeah, about that." The pair smiled at one another, held hands, and addressed the gathered family. "We'd like to start our new life's path as Dads, being husbands." Levie paused, then continued. "So, we'd like to get everyone's help in getting us hitch

Thanks. I loved seeing the personalities shine through the characters as they have their moments. Lewis actually responded extremely well, I was kinda expecting him to be more resistant and not taking no for an answer. However, he was very mature about his response. It really wasn't his fault, he's a worked up teen after a grueling wrestling practice. How knows, maybe he'll become a good friend to the guys. I loved Keith's interaction with the other dads. He's truly the baby boy of the bunch. It'll be interesting to see the apartment come together and see how the boys handle their newfound monitored freedom. LOL The conversation about the weed was awesome. LOL

Time passed in the blink of an eye. Before anyone knew it, the start of the new school was just over a month. Despite the teen's birthdays being close to two months away, the four dads were trying to find one more gift to give their teens. Keith already took Robbie and Mike to a police auction to choose their first vehicles. Robbie loved sleek cars with good gas mileage and power under the hood. Mike wanted something that he could take off-road, was long-lasting, and durable. They found a Twenty

I loved writing this one. I wanted to give them a child. At first I was gonna have it be Greg's from a one night stand and his first experience with a woman before he met Levie, but then the idea of carrying on the tradition of the older brother caring and raising the younger one.

The Family It took a while for everyone to get on the same page once everyone got to the ranch after Troy fielded the call from Levie, informing them he was fine and at the house. After hearing everything from how he got there to the decision to make Rhett a member of the ranch family, no one had a dry eye from all the laughter. "You know, he gets that from you, right, Jay?" Troy smirked. "Oh, sure, the kid gets kidnapped, then kidnaps the kidnapper, and suddenly, he's my kid, but

I love you guys. @chris191070 @BoyLove You two are awesome at posting comments and adding to a story's insight. Sam and Devie, I'm sure will be fine it may just take a little time before they're back to their full playfulness. Since I hadn't really planned on Edna in the original plan, it's gonna be interesting to see how and where she fits in. She may just take some time to herself and take stock of her new life as a single woman starting over, which is what she needs. At least now she has her family to love and truly get to know. The other two kids are definitely gonna be fine. They just wanna be with their Devie and Daddy/Uncle Sam, of which I just heard Justin giggling in the background.

Fun Fact: A fan of Wynonna's played "That Was Yesterday" and left the song on repeat so that it was playing when her soon to be ex-husband got home from work. If you get the chance, listen to "That Was Yesterday" by Wynonna Judd. It was written by Naomi Judd, and in my opinion, one of Wy's best songs.

Edna Winters The woman's battered reflection stared back at her as she dried her tears and cleaned her wounds. Overall her appearance was still considered stunning. Thanks to eating right, a good wardrobe, vitamins, an exceptional hairdresser, and expensive antiaging creams, fifty-five-year-old Edna Winters could turn the heads of men younger than her thirty-one-year-old son, Zach. However, right now, the only heads she'd turn would be attached to the necks of those in the medical field and

It's beautiful, how Sam and Zach were already having fun, and admitted it was better when their kids got into it. And, the boys arm wrestling and Cillian not letting either of them win was cute too.

Sam and Zach are like peas in a pod. They are such great and fun Dad's. The punishment for Sam and Zach was awesome too. LOL

The Family The week leading up to the visit from Mr. and Mrs. Winters flew by for the family. Chris and Zach tried their best to get a few things looked at and fixed by the landlord. Sam became so disgusted with the homeowner's inaction that he grabbed his tool belt and did the repairs himself. Sam sent the landlord a bill and a scathing letter, informing the owner that he was on the board for the homeowner's and renter's association. Also, if it happened again, Sam would make sure the

It's up in the air. I loved seeing Sam acting like the Pied Piper, it solidified his place as a big kid. LOL And Devie performing his Uncle assessment and acting scientific. LOL

The Family Justin looked around the neighborhood as he got out of the car. The teen pulled his backpack from the seat and walked towards the front door. He was completely unaware of the redheaded teen running across the street, straight at him. Zach and Chris stood by the truck and giggled as they watched the unfolding scene. The brunet heard something behind him and turned around just in time to be tackled to the ground. "Justy!" Cillian squealed and giggled as he kissed his brot

I do appreciate your words, @BoyLove I try to get a good balance of fun, playfulness, and emotional scenes to mirror real life, even if the situations don't.

Sam may find a way to get some ticklish retribution at some point. I was going crazy trying to figure out how to explain the bad blood between Sam and the Love's.

***Two Weeks Earlier*** Chris, Zach, & Justin "Daddy, Uncle Tee's on the phone." Zach Winters-Love giggled and shook his head when he heard his thirteen-year-old son, Justin, yell down the stairs. The thirty-one-year-old and his husband, thirty-four-year-old Chris, constantly told the boy not to holler. "I guess it'll sink in before he moves out." The redhead muttered to himself. "Thank you, Justy," Zach said after picking up the phone in his office. He smiled when he h
