I thought the same thing. Indeed, one of my beta-readers pointed out that the club's policy is probably illegal in Victoria. My response was that since no one is likely to complain, they can get away with it. As a fallback, they can say that they encourage the security guard at the front door to discourage straights from entering, but he's not actually allowed to stop them if they insist. If he does, well, people misinterpret company policy all the time
Yes, I'm using the actual 2014 draft order in the story, as it will be after all trading is completed. I'll give a link in a future chapter so you'll see it at about the same time the characters know what the final draft order will be.
