Auuuuh! Harley. Already, you've got to love that kid. He's a great character and a refreshing addition to the story. Carlos, I believe you've picked the perfect friend for CJ. the dads seem to love him too. I can't wait to know him better.

Tough ending, Looking forward to Ben's visit. Should be interesting. We don't know too much about his friend at school ... what's his name? ... Henry? No! I don't think it's Henry... ? ... ? ... Dang it! FINE!!! I'll look him up ... Harley! I was close. We know he's a Hyperactive motor mouth, and CJ is intrigued by him. I must say, I'm a little intrigued by him myself. It will be interesting to get to know him in the future. I hope the near future.

You mean and hateful man!!! You deliberately did that on purpose. Hel ... I mean Hades, there should have been a plane crash to round out the Labor Day disaster. Heck, Sink the PP, send out a news release showing a picture of a major politician bent over getting it up the back side. You can mess with anybody, but don't mess with my CJ. Auuuuh man! I think I just fell in love with CJ in this chapter. Besides his awesome personality, him being a gorgeous stud, and a smart and loving kid. He out done himself. He rose above the "just another character" status. This chapter made him a rock star in my humble opinion. This is the reason why ... He likes Mountain Dew. Yep, that's all it took. Actually, I'm nursing on a bottle of the full-flavored nectar as we speak. YES!!! I love this story.

One thing that I'm starting to appreciate is Brett's and Cesar's little talks about CJ before they go to bed. It gives great insight to their thoughts on CJ and how they plan to parent him. And it's unique to your story. Well, I've never seen it before. I am formally requesting a list of character if you have one, but I don't know how we would do that. Otherwise, I'm going to have to go back and reread the story to write it down. I don't mind giving you my e-mail but not to everyone else. Sorry, everyone else.

Still, more tears. It touched my heart the way Cj wanted to comfort Doc. When he hugged Doc ... Well, there goes the tears again. You're killing me, Carlos. Lol.

I kinda like that about him. Chip or not, he's not afraid to stand up for what is right. And he's got the balls and ability to kick as ... I mean gluteal maximus to get the job done. I feel you should try to find a way out of a fight if you can, technically CJ put his nose into someone else's fight, so maybe the dads should chat with him about it. But he saw injustice and was comfortable in his abilities to fight for it. He was brave. That's what I admire about CJ.

This was a fun chapter. Things are starting to get interesting. Again, this chapter add another side to CJ's personality. I am loving this kid. He's a "Mans man." Any father would be proud of him ... Well ... except his Hitler stepdad.

Wow. The more you bring out Cj's personality, the more I'm attracted to him. I think I'm starting to fall for this character. And that excites me. You have a great way with words by the way. It's easy to navigate the story.

I have a tear in my eye for C. J's half-brother. You said that the brother and C.J. was pretty tight. It looks like he lost his best friend and brother... plus, he was left with a Hitler mom and dad. The poor kid is going to kill himself ... I just know it. I like Pop's attitude with C.J. He seems like a sweetheart.

Carlos, great start. I can feel the love already from father and son. I hope I get to hear Dad give mom an ear full when he calls her. Lol.

I just found the J.C. series. I haven't read anything yet. My favorite thing about reading is falling in love with the characters. I'm looking forward to getting into this story and sucking the marrow out it. But most of all I hope to feel at home and loved while reading. The greatest is love.

Ok, this technology was born one of three ways: Eather you're brilliant, you're full of shi ... I mean bovine fecal matter, or the combination of the two. My guess is the latter. With my feeble mine, it all sounds plausible. I just wish we had the technology and was using it. It seems like J.J. was giving up sensitive top-secret information to the reporter. Will that get him into trouble?

JJ going on this vacation is nice and all, but that's not where my heart's at. I'm glad he went to spend some time with the families that helped him on his journey to Omaha. I was looking forward to those reunions in KC, and Springfield. He really should spend more time with them. I just wish that he would have spent a week with his family in Omaha. In this story, Omaha is where my heart's as. Great story by the way. When you get past all of the technical stuff, it truly is a beautiful little story. -
After reading the last two chapters, I found out how acutely dumb I truly am. Thank you for that realization. It does wonders for my self-esteem. Lol.

Arch: "Sammy's Kitchen" has several funny moments in it, but this one is hilarious. You even made Owen getting hit by a vehicle humorous. I think you might be a nut Arch. Lol. I love your sense of humor. Great story so far, This story is a fast mover, it makes me think more. I don't like to think more, it gives me headaches. Lol. I love the mystery of the black fox in the park. It makes the rest of the story more sinister going forward. Looking forward to the next chapters. Stay safe and Write On! Mark
