OMG, had to be away for a bit and just finished a binge reading marathon. Dang, talk about all growed up! LOL!!! So enjoy reading this compassionate, caring, validating story - one filled with action, suspense, surprise, and most importantly love. Not only is it a story, it's a lesson to the world in kindness and generosity - taking care of your friend as yourself. It truly nauseated me when the guys and Chago walked into the shop for the first time to purchase new clothes for him and the store owner greeted him with complete disdain. Reminded me of Oprah walking into the handbag store and being told she couldn't afford the purse. So judgmental. Can't wait for more segments - such a breath of fresh air to read and enjoy. ❤️

Exactly what I was thinking as well. It was interesting Rita contacted Chet to find someone for her son and Chet set his best friend up with him. Definitely a strong bond there yet Chet is playing the coy one with ignorance. The laughter of the family is refreshing and contagious - finding myself laughing with them! lol GREAT chapter!

What, as long as they don't bump into each other coming and going .... almost, only once! LOL!!! LOL!!!

Reading this brought Michael Buble's HOME to mind "May be surrounded by, A million people I, Still feel all alone, Just wanna go home, Oh, I miss you, you know." My heart ached for Corbin in this chapter when Hutch found him an emotional wreck in his room. Those times in life we look back on wondering what would've happened if we'd just turned around when they called our name instead of continuing to walk away. Just when we're getting to that point of being able to hold it together and friends rush in, thinking they're doing the right thing, and just rip the stitches out of a wound that is difficult to heal. "You're the one that always pulls us through, You always do what you got to do babe, Because you'e one of a kind." 😢

Going back and re-reading some chapters and comments. This chapter and your comments brought tears to my eyes. Yes, they were "soul-baring" and the most difficult to go back and read bringing up deep emotions of love for my Pete only his name's Benji. Like the remaining chapters, I often wonder where we would've ended up if the world had been open minded enough to allow us a chance. I think this truly is why Corbin and Pete affect me so deeply. Wow, send me a bill for the therapy session on this one! LOL!!! LOL!!! ❤️

Such a validating and loving chapter to read. Parents of course want the very very best for their children ... often times as long as it conforms to the norms of society. How refreshing to read of two loving parents that embrace and validate their son and want the very best for him that will make HIM happy. The emotions of that kind of love just reach out and embrace the reader and make a great story even that much more heartfelt and rewarding to read. Thank you and, as always, I look forward to what lay ahead. ❤️

An amazing story about coming of age, validation, love, and parental support to name just a few. How the author weaves karma into the storyline is priceless and so enjoyed.

OMG, who would've thought when this story began that Rita was after Carlo for Anthony, not herself. Binge reading is the BEST! All I have to say is Anthony better drink some fluids, after 4 orgasms earlier, and the pending night ahead, he's going to be dehydrated! LOL!!!! Can't wait for more! There are great stories and then there are addictively great stories ... this is definitely the latter!

OH HELL!!! There's two ways this can end up ... dramarama or a throuple. If O'Leary was complaining about the noise earlier, gawd help him because there's about to be NOLA Jazz Band playing upstairs or Jerry Springer's best episode is about to show up. LOL!!! Can't wait for the next chapter, glowing stuff, very interesting.

Ok, just gonna say it, I'd rather Rory and Luke ending up together. Damn the complications I know but they just seemed right for each other. Who knows, after 9 years, there has to be a sequel to this story somewhere ... or should be!
-
Talk about showing up uninvited! This should be interesting ....

I tend to wonder of Rory is self-depreciating ... and yes, it's spelled correctly for the correct meaning. lol I mean OMG, like father like son in the worry department. Eddie almost smothers the life out of some at times and Rory worries the life out of himself and others. Good gawd, if you weren't attracted emotionally and physically to someone, all that stuff Luke does - hugging, touching, and kissing Rory, walking around naked, laying on the sofa in his underwear - wouldn't mean anything except just 2 guys living together in a basement apartment growing up. Rory, though, scoping out Luke when he's on the sofa in his underwear, naked, on top of him, in a towel, ogling his physical being as well as cuddling his emotional being is the one truly in love with Luke and freaked the hell out because he knows deep down it's true. After Luke just dropped the bomb "Seth wasn't completely wrong" gawd only knows what tailspin the next chapter is about to hold. These 2 boys just need to fk, get it out of their systems, and see what they feel after that. It's obvious Rory doesn't really fall for someone until the hormones rise and the pants fall!

FINALLY, concrete may be turning to brain matter, Rory 's density may have, ONLY MAY HAVE, lessened a little and actual thinking kicked in. Yes Rory, Luke "likes someone" and that someone is YOU! 🙄
-
Seriously??? There's no way I'd let that a-hole in a car with me. Not only is he drunk, probably has drugs in his pockets which would send everyone to jail and impound the car. While I might not leave him there, I'd call a cab and a-hole could pay when they dropped him off. UGH, and Rory going with, NOT a good idea!

WOW!!! Heart wrenching to read. So full of emotion. Happiness, sadness, frustration, anger.... I HATE cancer, it's taken way too many great people way too soon and left behind ones that miss them immensely. When Rory heard his mothers voice, I'm glad that he had Luke there with him, it's a core startling thing for a moment. I'm glad he took Luke's advice and opened his present though - he'll now be able to enjoy all those special moments with his mom again for a very long time to come. After a moment, it was nice to also see his family bond around him for support and also later to celebrate his birthday with his mom and new family together. Happy Birthday Rory!
-
OMG, Rory, concrete for brains. Luke is madly in love with you and has tried to tell you numerous times but your too dense and going after fluff instead of substance. WAKE UP!!!
-
Saint Luke! A heart of pure gold and the patience of Joshua. While I agree, Seth would make a good friend for Rory, I definitely don't see dating beginning there as a compatible thing. I mean really, the immature Rory bouncing out of one disaster of a relationships right into another one HMPF! The only time Rory is not being halfway bitchy with everyone is when he's with Luke which tells you there's an equality there, a bond, something deeper than with anyone else, and he's too damn blind to see it. Maybe in the next chapter Luker's will grow some balls and tell Rory how he really feels and who he feels it about! One can only hope!
-
I swear to gawd, Rory must have concrete between those two ears of his as dense as he is. Eddie's nagging just gets on my last freggin nerve - talk about suffocating a relationship - but Rory, Oh Jeez! I mean really, this is the second time that Luke has dropped the hint that HE'S the one Luke is interested in. I know Rory's not Einstein but hell, it doesn't take Einstein to figure that one out - especially every time they're close and Rory leans into him and he doesn't pull away, or he sleeps on Rory's floor, or makes sure Rory is BAE regardless of what they're doing. Concrete ... I swear to gawd it concrete! LOL!!!

"He knows he can use you, because you're too stupid to see it!" Was this whole chapter about showing the reader how stupid Rory really is? Seth is trying to be a friend to him, just like Luke, Dave, and everyone else, but Rory is too stupid to see A-hole Aaron for what he really is while A-hole is desperately trying to pit Rory against the very people that truly care about him. "Don't bother coming back" really??? At what point does Rory grow a pair and tell that asshole to go f himself??? HMPF!!!
-
Luke obviously cares a great deal for Rory - even knowing that he'd just called A-hole - by offering to sleep on his floor so he could be close in case Rory got upset again or needed anything. Maybe that baseball knocked some sense in his head so he can see Luke cares for him so very much. Just sitting together and feeling a peacefulness has to be so much better than always bitching at each other ... oh, I just described Luke/Rory and A-hole/Rory. Honestly, if someone had told me what that guy did, there's no way he'd even come close to me. ...and he keeps doing it. Rory is definitely coming across as an idiot at the moment allowing this to continue.

Petty annoyances and a silent celebration
Christopher commented on DomLuka's story chapter in Petty annoyances and a silent celebration
Every single chapter I've read that has Aaron in it, Rory become either pissed off, depressed, or exasperated. Is Rory just a slow learner or stupid? I'd give someone about 3 chances and after that, it'd be done with. This is like a broken record or one that has a horrible scratch in it that just keeps playing the same groove over and over again - screw me over now, now, now! SMH -
Honestly, you're sitting on a sofa with the guy you love, leaning into him for comfort, and can't figure out that J-A Aaron isn't good for you?!?!?! I give up! I'm mean really, who wouldn't want to date Luke ... hell, I'd date Luke! LOL!!! Come on Rory, get your sh*t together, you're about to fk up something worth a lifetime and hurt someone you care about!
-
Oh boy, I give up! I don't know who's screw is looser - Rory's, Aaron's, or Seth's. Regardless, some just have to learn the hard way and it's obvious that's the road Rory has chosen to take. I just hope Eddie can clean this mess up as well.

I Can't Believe You Made Me Do That
Christopher commented on DomLuka's story chapter in I Can't Believe You Made Me Do That
Rory, Rory, Rory, for what you've gone through to this chapter and grown from, you are still a very dense and stubborn young man - just like your grandfather (according to Alice)! What part of caution signals does one not see when it comes to Aaron. I said it before and will say it again, that leopard did not change his spots and Rory's in the crosshairs! Why can't Rory and Luke just hookup already - gawd knows they're madly attracted to each other and enjoy each others company. Guess we shall wait and see. On to the next chapter! -
Now it's time for Rory to be stupid. UGH!
