    Chapter 45

Ann Marie was essentially EOD’d (Emergency Order of Detention) with the help of John. Standard protocol is that no one, not even family, visits until the physician or the guardian, in this case Timothy, seems it’s beneficial to the patient. Can one imagine the enabling mom visiting Ann Marie right now? It’d go something like this - oh honey I’m so sorry, you did nothing wrong, I will get you out of here and home where you’ll be safe.” To which Ann Marie would feel validated, play the victim, the only roll she knows, and use her mother until she got what she wanted while in the meantime tell them all to “go to hell” in her mind. Ann Marie has been coddled far too long and Timothy, with Dad, Eva, John, and Stephen’s support, is doing what is in her best interest at the moment. It wouldn’t surprise me if the evaluations uncovered an underlying physiological or psychological illness. Great chapter. I’d definitely be tough for me to write it CL, it’s hard enough to read it.

    Chapter 44

Well, the apple didn’t fall far from the tree that’s for damn sure!! Ann Marie is definitely her mom personified. Eva and Stephen definitely took after their dad.

    Chapter 43

SAD, we have now seen a glimpse of why Ann Marie is the way she is. If someone was coddled all their life and never told the word no, of course they're going to be a spoiled brat ... as a kid AND as an adult. How on earth did Eva and Stephen turn out ok??? Still shaking my head at the frustration of this chapter. Great chapter, just frustrating!

    Chapter 42

WOW, I'd expect that behavior out of a 2 year old but the way Ann Marie was acting was ridiculous. I'm glad she's sedated so the family doesn't have to hear the vile words from her mouth. Ann Marie is going to die a very very lonely person if she doesn't change her ways and fast. Sad!

    Chapter 41

Ann Marie .... oh my girl, you got a truckload of butt hurt coming your way! As weinerdog said, the comment "When I get my inheritance, you all can go to hell" definitely took me back a bit to read. I too think that's exactly what mom and dad need to hear in order to have a 'wake yo ass up' moment and realize the vile and ugly person Ann Marie has turned into and what she really thinks of them all.

    Chapter 40

I hate to say it, but Timothy is more the parent than the parents are. Sometimes, tough love has to be shown to a child, as hard as it may be, in order to stop enabling the behavior. I'm guessing, being the first child, Ann Marie was dotted on and given everything - expecting that as an adult, she found someone much older and richer to continue to enable that expectation / behavior. When the well dried up, where was she to go except back home where her parents mostly continued the process by not telling her no when acting inappropriately - such as moving into Timothy's old room and kicking Randy out. Should've never happened. Tough love ... Timothy is going to be a great parent when their new son Donald arrives.

    Chapter 39

Prejudice is just ignorance in disguise. It always amazes me churchgoers, as represented in this chapter, know nothing of the love and acceptance Jesus taught yet proclaim their "authority" on the topic from the mountain tops. Shame on them! Hypocrites!

    Chapter 38

I too was wondering why the animosity toward Tim from Ann Marie. Thanks for explaining that. A spoilt brat is what she is that needs a good talking to behind the woodshed. Can't wait for the sparkle show when she finds out Judge's ruling! 😂

    Chapter 37

Karma is a bitch and this one deserves all she has coming! I just hope Timothy remembers to pay himself for all the legal hours he's billed the ungrateful one. 😉

    Chapter 36

Well, as they say, somebody got a fire lit under their ass! Timothy definitely let it be known he's not playing.

    Chapter 35

"I’ll institute a lawsuit for incompetence." Stephen is doing a Saint's work taking on a mountain of incompetence, especially for the one that will never say thank you. But, like he said, he's doing this for the rest of the family and not her. I'm feeling the boot getting closer to footing it right out the door. 🤣

    Chapter 34

OMG, I luv'd this chapter. It was centered around a family growing together. It's amazing how a thorn can be allowed to cause so much trouble. Nice to not have her around. lol

    Chapter 33

Go get'm Timothy! The prenuptial perplexes me - especially the attorney's answer of not knowing they were married at the time he drew up the prenuptial. Either it was a case of human error - having a great trust in his client - or he's just inept as an attorney not to verify all the facts ... like getting a copy of the marriage license. Of course, the client could've lied and said there wasn't one because they weren't married. Timothy is proving to be a very astute attorney at his young age. Together, with the expertise of Stephen, I'm confident he'll reverse the court decision and make gramps very very proud.

    Chapter 32

There's very few characters, in all the stories I read on gay authors, that I absolutely just despise ... Ann Marie is the first! To so entitled just to tear the invoice up in front of everyone and make the comment she did is disgraceful. Woe is me, I'm helpless, Everyone attend to my needs. OMG, that bitch needs a wake-up call and SOON!! .... either that or a foot in her ass right out the door!

    Chapter 31

@Kev@Anton_Cloche@weinerdog - Thank you! ❤️ Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the US as well! ... and to everyone else, shop till ya drop, it's gonna be BUSY!!! LOL!!! LOL!!!

    Chapter 31

Wow, Timothy's not messing around and rightfully so. Some family members one can be thankful for while others can just be parasites. I think Ann Marie falls in the latter category. Interesting comment by Stephen regarding learning a lesson. Wonder what he has up his sleeve? Great chapter!

    Chapter 30

I would've thought dear ole mom and dad wouldn't have put up with Ann Marie's shit but guess that didn't happen, they just caved into her bossing Randy around and ignored it. What all three of them need is a good swift kick in the ass and Randy probably has the boot to do it! It's pretty evident where Ann Marie's problem originates from ... she turns on the water works and it's 'oh poor baby'. And how the hell did she end up kicking Randy out of his bedroom??? That right there is a big bunch of bullshit!!! 🤯😡

    Chapter 29

OMFG!!! Ann Marie is one of those people that thinks her farts sound like the music of a fine harp instead of the thud of a tuba they really are. "Get me a cuppa tea" MY ASS!!! I'm of the opinion I would tossa her outta on her assa! 😂
  19. What just happened Jonathan, Chapters 26 - 42 just got unpublished at another publishers request and now the story is in a long-term hold status? I was definitely looking forward to the continuation we spoke about.

    Chapter 28

OMG, how could I have made the mistake of getting Eva and Ann "SNOB" Marie confused with each other??? Well of course, I'll have to have a staff and a driver and a new car and gawd only knows what else. No wonder her husband gave it all away! People like that would never think of others or their needs - hence the luggage comment. 🙄

    Chapter 27

Am I the only one confused? In the beginning, I thought Eva was the estranged money grubbing sister that wouldn't lower herself to everyone else's standards? Though, I did get the impression that John is just a pawn and she stopped by to parade him around in front of Timothy and Stephen. The farm is where Timothy gets a lot of his strength from and Donnie is right, he needs to buy it. I got the impression though that Stephen was already one step ahead of Timothy and the wheels were already rolling in that direction.

    Chapter 26

Luv this chapter, so much going on. Stephen and Timothy are working together as a couple, Gramps opened up and shared a concern Timothy will look into, Dad's into the electrical regeneration business, and then there's a cliffhanger about going home. Wonder what luminous wonders await with the mention of money grubbing Eva but wait, Randy will always be enjoyable to hear about and how he's growing up and developing into a fine young man.

    Chapter 25

Horny little buggers they are this morning! Good healthy boys! 😂
  24. Christopher

    Chapter 24

A rubdown? I think the more appropriate word would've been a rubUP! 😂 Stephen's definitely got his hands full at the moment with everyone wanting a filing system like he made for Timothy. I think the boys are about to become fathers sooner than they think!

    Chapter 23

Excuses to take showers .... hell, I'd get in the shower with both of them! 😂
