    @CincyKris and I had a brief discussion in a Cernunnos chapter. Pigs would be food quality control experts or chefs, cattle or oxen would be security bouncers for large events, and squirrels would be secret agents. *sigh* Hint time for the Cernunnos readers. I didn't leave many single guys in Sheboygan.

    Oh, crap. I just realized I used the name Barry. He was meant for Barry and the Beast. Looks like I'll be using Bernie or Bob. I like flexible shifters. 😏 Jokes aside, when I started Cernunnos, the comment section opened my eyes to the typical shifter trope (predatory animals. Wolves, bears, whatnot) and I'm having a blast deviating from it.

    Not exactly an immediate issue, just wanted to bring it to attention. I'm experiencing a delay with certain notifications involving a few areas of the site. So far, it's just Grumpy Bear's Gods and Ancients story and the Anthology Discussion topic in the Writer's Circle (only when I'm not directly involved, such as being quoted or mentioned. Example: I got a notification for Carlos's comment from a few hours ago recently). Like I mentioned, it's not a concern of mine but I thought it should be addressed. I'm getting timely notifications on my own stories and posts, but when my account is not involved (aside from following a topic) it causes the delay. Operating on both ASUS Chromebook and Samsung Galaxy A50 on Chrome.

    W-wait! Raspberry bourbon?! That's a new one for me. I've heard of grapefruit, apple, and even praline... but raspberry? Further research is required. Contrary to Jake's bartending repertoire, I tend to lean on gin. Indoggo has been my go-to for almost a year now.

    Woodford Reserve is solid! I really enjoy their malt and wheat bills. We have a relatively new bourbon coming out of my little town that really competes with it (Green River Bourbon). I can actually be proud of this one; some of our other bourbons from Owensboro are actual trash.

    I love Jake. He's such a loveable cub. The Dancing Bear is a wonderful drink, but there's a reason most places that make it do enforce the 2 drink limit. It'll knock you on your ass. Vin and Mace are just about the most adorkable couple possible.
