He should be able to sue all of the assailants, yes? I would think Berriman would certainly be in his sights after his testimony, especially because Berriman claimed almost sole responsibility. -
I think you're right about that. I am only worried about his hiding his drinking behavior from his dads. THAT presages a problematic relationship with "Demon Rum."

I meant to imply that CJ may be more on his toes with Bernardo having had the conversation with Dash. And, yes, I referred to Brett as Cap. Isn't that Harley's nickname for him? I added Doc and JP for their forensic expertise.

Ajax has been alerted and Sean is around the corner. I'm sure Doc and JP and Cap know EXACTLY how and where to dispose of things that need disposing. Having the HIV/AIDS conversation with Dash, I think CJ will be a bit more vigilant, especially as he knows about J-M's desires and has heard about Bernardo, yes?

As so many have said, an excellent chapter. I am worried about this small detail with CJ's drinking: "a surreptitious sip for himself." If he'd asked, I'm sure his dads would have said yes in the circumstance, so why not ask? Entitlement? Arrogance? Experimentation? Or, heaven forfend, the beginnings of a teen drinking problem?
