I see this trip as a way for Granger to reset Caroline: they always worked well together outside of their marriage. If they can remain allies for the sake of their children, then Caroline is likely to find herself on the George side of the field. Maybe George needs to give her the Arthur treatment and find a massively hung Viking of her own!

Stef doesn’t yet see it through any other lens. I’m sure he will get there eventually. I think Stef has a lifetime of rationalizing all that ever happened to him without his consent, and there is a lot - maybe more than every other character combined. For a man who naturally compartmentalizes his life, he doesn’t instinctively get Will’s defense of Brad. I love how Brad’s instinct is to turtle with his favorite human, and make sure his walls are strong, before seeing Stef. He defused his own bomb. What a great single chapter to show both Brad and Will maturing. JP will be proud.

I think that Jeremy has this one big chance to handle himself, and impress Brad and Will with his sincerity about making amends. If there’s one thing they want from him, it’s his love.

Considering how many of Will’s previous birthdays went so badly, this birthday seems like a dream sequence. I can’t wait for Stef to wave his magic wand and make their suite fabulous. And if JP rides along, it would be amazing to have a chapter from his POV as he reminisces. I remember when I first read “Chronicles” on Nifty so many years ago, and knew I had never read anything like it before. Oh, how precious this story is to me.

Jays needs a new psychologist who understands sports divas, and can help him integrate back into the non-sports world. The whole side plot with Jack and Jessica and a baby…wow does that hit close to home, and I’m just loving it 🤣

Aah, but while Will burns hot, JJ blows cold. This will be a battle of Fire and Ice. Unless someone can get through to Jays how he screwed up, again, by using Brad and Will as his punching bags, again. Brilliant of Jays to change his name. He’s right, JJ is a baby name. And wow, how divided are Kris’s loyalties going to be?! Jays in one corner, Godfather in the other.
