I wouldn’t worry about JJ. If he get pissed off, he’s capable of launching incredibly inventive attacks of his own. I’m thinking of how he handled Wade’s sister with the British press. And Will will always have JJ’s back. How terrifying would it be, to have to face them both working together???

I can understand where Jack is coming from. He doesn’t want to give up his new sexual freedom. What he doesn’t yet see is that his two choices are both forward moves - there’s no “going back” to his former relationship with Claire. He’s lucky that Brad kept his temper and tried to make Jack understand the parallel with Robbie’s affairs. And Jack is naive if he thinks his current flame will be content with just a sexual relationship. He’s a wealthy, attractive divorced doctor. Talk about prime choice. Get that ring, honey 🤑

Ah, Calvert is washing ashore. I think an extended time as equerry will change Calvert very much, as he (and George) are still so young. And a cameo from my favorite, Cavendish! 😍

I am a huge Cedar Point junkie and did a happy dance at the references. Top Thrill Dragster is my all-time favorite ride, RIP it will be missed. I’m going this June, and we shall see what Dragster 2.0 is all about. There’s always Gatekeeper and Millenium. I have so many happy memories over the years, and I cannot wait to read about Will and Travis roaming the park. So glad to have a POV from Brad!

What a joyful chapter. It’s also a rather dramatic mirror of George’s homecoming, where he found so many former allies against him. Here, he’s surrounded by his personal strength - the love of his children, the loyalty of his staff, and the love and respect of Calvert. You must be really winding George up for the lion’s den!

What a journey this book has been! The deal between Will and Zach astounds me. And sad to say, I think Will’s right, it’s only a matter of time before Zach strays. Ah well, I can’t wait to read it when it happens. I’m looking forward to Will and Marie’s Excellent Adventure being freshmen in Boston, with Matt and Wade. Thank you Mark, for all of your stories, they are my favorites on this site. I am in awe by what you have created.
